2 weeks ago...Serena's POV
Beep...beep...beep
I heard my alarm clock go off as I slowly opened my eyes from my peaceful slumber. A few moments later my mother opened the door to my bedroom.
"Good morning darling. How was your sleep?" My mother asked sweetly.
"It was great! I had the best dream too! I had powers where I could move things with my mind!!" I told her.
"Wow hunny! That sounds incredible! I wish I had powers like that!" She told me. "Anyways, breakfast is ready, so when your have made your bed and gotten dressed, you can head downstairs and eat before school. Okay?" My mother asked.
"Of course mother." I said. With that, she left me to get ready for the school day.
I did as my mother asked and I got dressed and made my bed. After I finished, I walked down the winding, wooden stairs towards my kitchen.
The smell of perfectly cooked eggs and bacon filled my nose as I sat down at my kitchen table. My mother brought me a piping hot plate of eggs and bacon with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and I couldn't be happier!
"Hurry up and eat sweetheart, we have to leave for school in 10 minutes." My mother told me.
"Of course mother." I said.
Shortly after I finished my breakfast, I made my way down the hall, towards my front door, and put on my shoes and my backpack. When I was finished getting ready, my mother and I got into the car and left for high school.
When we got to my school I gave my mother a short kiss on the cheek and left the car, moving towards my favourite school.
"There she is! I've been looking for you everywhere!" My best friend Kya yelled.
"Kya do you really have to yell that loud? There are people who are trying to finish homework!" I said whole looking around the hallway.
"Well you are my best friend...and I'm happy to see you! So of course I'm gunna be excited when I see you!" Kya told me while embracing me into a hug.
"I'm excited to see you too Kya." I said hugging her back.
"So Serena?! Are you going to tell me about your date last night with Jonathan?!" Kya questioned.
"Kya we have to got to class, I will tell you all the details later I promise." I told my excited best friend.
After we finished our conversation we headed to our favourite class, math. We find that it challenges our brain and we both love a challenge.
By the end of the day Kya and I both received a truck load amount of homework, so when we reached our lockers, I asked;
"Hey, do you want to come over and do homework together?"
"Sure! But you better tell me about your date while we are doing homework." Kya teased.
With that, I rolled my eyes, we both got out school stuff on and made our way out of the school towards my house.
