Disappointed and mad.

Those were the right words that best describe the feelings I was experiencing right at that moment.

I was frowning, literally in a very dark mood.

Instead of watching the newlyweds having their first dance as a couple and mingling with the other guests, I studied her every actions instead.

She was drinking liquor as if her life depended on it eversince we came to the reception hall.

I wanted to go to her, break those bottles and wrecked the table she was at.

Then what's worst, after dinner, she went into the dance floor and started dancing like a stripper.

Gyrating with some fellow who I could tell by the look of him was too ecstatic with the free body-rubbing he was receiving.

I wanted to slice the DJ's throat for playing such a lusty, loud disco-type of music.

"You're not enjoying yourself, man", Marc, a bit tipsy now. He has been in a jovial mood and was dancing, too. Enjoying the party with his lovely girlfriend, Tara. Clarissa's bestfriend.

I gave him a bored, disapproving stare, showing him I wasn't interested in a conversation. I took a sip from the glass of white wine I was drinking. Drinking every drop.

He arched his brow because he knew me so well. He sat on the chair beside me and stared at the lady I was watching.

"Did you approach her yet?", Marc asked, seriously.

I shook my head slowly, still not in the mood to talk.

Marc scratched his head, a bit frustrated. I could tell that he was planning to reprimand me.

"Alex, if you're not going to introduce yourself to her in order for you to get to know each other, then I might need to call a psychologist for you", he said jokingly.

"She's drinking heavily", I stated the obvious. Nodding my head towards her direction.

"Yeah, I know. I noticed but this is a party so let her", he frowned, too. Marc took a deep breath. "It's the only way she can do to make herself feel better. Don't worry, her parents are here", Marc pointed at the two elderly handsome couple speaking to the groom's parents.

"Does she still lives with them?", I asked. Curiosity plaguing me.

"No, they live in the outskirt of the city about an hour away from here. They'll be staying at the hotel tonight. She has her own apartment in— Hey! Where do you think you're going?!', Marc was puzzled for I stood abruptly.

"I'm going to meet them", I said with much defiance that had left him grinning silly and giving me two thumbs-up.

"Excuse me Mr. and Mrs. Thomas", I called their attention in a very cordial manner. Lloyd's parents were no longer with them at the moment.

"Oh hello", Clarissa's father shook hands with me. "I don't think we've met young man", his smile was inviting.

These are nice people I can tell.

I glanced at her mother and saw her eyes were wide with wonder.

"Mrs. Thomas", I gave her a nod and took her hand. I gave her knuckles a chaste kiss and my sweet, dazzling, debonair smile.

She swallowed.

Hehehe... now she's mine.

I saw Mr. Thomas nudging her and clearing his throat. She frowned and glared at him.
