The Misus Smith Charitable Foundation had finally expanded in Asia and Africa after thirty years. As my beloved grandmama's legacy, I vowed to her that I would continue honouring her memories by helping others in need. After our successful medical mission, I was left tired and hungry like I was dead. So here I was lying down on a cot in a corner of one of the war survivor's tent.

Most of these children's parents died in the quarry of illegal mining supervised by the local terrorists. We were planning to build an orphanage for them. However, the uncontrollable rage of the terrorists Al-Shabaab in this town hindered our efforts and plans. We were ambushed on our way here. Fortunately, the military escorts as well as the private security forces that I conditioned were able to quell the violence.

Some of our food supplies were blasted out but luckily no one got killed. There were some casualties and the injured were immediately flew towards the City's main hospital for treatment.

I declined the offer to go home. Priorities should be followed. These children were in dire need of help. So my team and I were planning to transport them to another town and build the orphanage there instead.

But what about my priorities of the heart?

Have I forgotten about her?

Ah, her...

My Claire. My Clarissa...

Forget her? Never.

Amidst the hunger, thirst and stress, her image never once left my mind.
I tried to supress my longing for her.
I was lonely without her. I missed having her in my arms.

I wanted her wrapped around my arms right now. Holding her close to me so tightly.
To be with her.

Inside her.

I couldn't stop getting hard thinking about how I spent that unforgettable weekend with her.

The most memorable weekend of my life.

So for her not to think that I forgot about her, I made special instructions to send her flowers everyday at school and deliver dinner meals at her house.

I didn't want my woman starving.

No, no.

For I was positive and one hundred percent sure that we made a baby together.

I found myself grinning from ear to ear.
We didn't use any protections during the whole sexual interlocking.

My heart swelled when I daydreamed about her having a baby bump of my own doing.

Her, being mine, would be a fulfilment of my secret dreams.

I supposed I had to make sure she would get pregnant as quickly as possible.

If not now, then soon after.

After taking her home that Sunday afternoon, I planned to visit her parents as soon as possible before I leave for Africa.

They didn't expect me at all when I arrived at their ancestral home for a surprise visit because I didn't inform them regarding my plan to meet them.

"Would you like to stay for dinner with us, Alex? We're having beef steaks tonight, my very own specialty." Clarissa's mom declared.

"Thank you so much, I would love to."

"I'll start cooking then. You both can wait in the garden. I'll let Neri bring you some tea."
