Her hands entangled themselves in the boys brunette hair, pulling him closer. His mouth connected to her neck, leaving small, quick kisses. A soft moan left her mouth as the boy worked his way down her body.
How did she get like this? Flunking out of school, smoking whatever she could get her hands on, drinking whenever she could. And now this? This was just a new low for her. She didn't even know this guy. All she knew is that they just met, started talking, and talking led to, well, this. As he started to get lower and lower, thoughts of him rushed through her brain.
Him. The guy who started her on this downward spiral. They were in love...or so she thought. Now he's gone; out of her life. The boy with messy, raven- black hair. The boy who she said she'd never fall for, but did.
"Stop," she told the brunette. His actions halted and his eyes met hers, confusion written all over his face.
"Why? Did I do something wrong?" He asked. She paused for a second, wondering what to say.
"No, I did." And with that she grabbed her shirt off the floor, and ran out of the dimly-lit room. She felt terrible. Sure, she was still trying to get over the heartbreak of him leaving, but it shouldn't have been this hard. She just wanted things to be simpler. That's all she ever wanted. But they never are, are they?
She started to feel water well up in her eyes and a lump began to form in her throat. Her back hit the wall behind her and she slid down, scratches probably being left.
Her pulse quickened as the warm tears fell quickly from her face. Suddenly, her breathing became uneven, and eventually she started to hyperventilate. She would give anything for this pain to stop. She slammed the back of her head into the wall, trying to focus on the pain on her head instead of in her heart. At first it was working, but it didn't overpower the panic she was feeling.
So she kept hitting her head on the wall, biting her hand as if to stop the whimpers coming from her mouth, doing anything to stop hyperventilating.
She started, not to feel better, but instead, to feel nothing at all."Maybe it's working," she thought, full of hope that this would soon pass; it always does. But by the time the nothingness would've subsided, everything became darker. The light in the hallway seemed to be going away.
And then, all at once, it went dark.
