The next morning, I skipped my breakfast. I didn't feel like socializing with my family because I knew what would be brought up. My father would start picking at something ridiculous I'd done or said, or my aunt would start asking if I'd found myself a husband yet. So whilst they were inside in the dining hall, I got myself washed and dressed, then I let myself out into the front garden.

I had hidden my favorite book in my frock. I sat in the grass clearing, not caring if I got my dress dirtied or if I looked improper. I opened it and began to read where I had left off the night before. Reading was my one escape from the harsh, judgmental world I lived in. It was the one way for me to visit places from far and wide. Though it was only in my mind, it felt magical. My father said I'm stubborn because I read to many books, and that the books give me ideas and they give women knowledge that is highly unsuitable for them. However, I highly disagree.

When I reached the last chapter of my book, it must've been hours since I had started to read to my hearts content. Because I was interrupted by the nearby sound of the clip-clopping of horses hooves and the wooden rattling sound of a carriage. Sure enough, my aunts honorable and noble guests had arrived. I rolled my eyes and walked towards the front of the castle where I am always forced to stand in a line with my family to greet and welcome our guests.

I stood next to (S/N) and her fiancé; then, I felt my father glaring over at me for not showing up to breakfast and roaming outside unattended, alone and without his, mothers, (S/N)'s or Alina's consent. I sighed to myself irritably, wishing to go back to my reading. However when the carriage pulled to a stop, so did my heart. The man that climbed out helping his young master out of the carriage was the one that caught my eye.

His skin was fair but smooth looking. He had raven hair, and ruby red eyes that seemed to shine with hypnotic dominance. He wore a black tailcoat, white gloves, and a smile fitting his look perfectly. Though he seemed dark and mysterious, he sure as hell looked gorgeous. He bowed as did his Master.

"Your majesty, I thank you for the most thoughtful kindness you've given by inviting me to the ball this evening as well as staying here for the spring." The short lord said.

"You're very welcome Lord Phantomhive, please rise. I'd like to introduce my family to you and Sebastian." My aunt Victoria said.

"This is my brother King (FA/N), and his wife, Queen (M/N). And this is my niece, Princess (S/N) and her fiancé Prince (P/N). They shall be married in a few weeks. And finally this is my other niece, Princess (Y/N)." We nodded to Ciel.

   "Welcome Lord Phantomhive." We said.

"Thank you, your highnesses. Pleased to meet you all." He said bowing once more but more subtly this time.

Sebastian glanced at me and I quickly averted my gaze. I felt myself blush lightly. 'What are you doing?! He's a butler! Princesses and butlers can't be together!...Awh..but he's so handsome!' I thought, mentally scolding myself. I needed to get a grip. Or else, I was going to loose it quite completely.
