We go backstage and Sami continues to berate me about Braun.

Sami:"If you know he's so dangerous, why do you keep getting involved? You are 95 pounds, he could hurt you."

Hayley:"You can't take him by yourself. Don't you get that? He is going to hurt you badly, and I'm just trying to help you."

Sami:"You don't need to, its too dangerous for you."

Hayley:"Why are we arguing? It's not worth us getting mad each other."

Sami:"Okay. Let's just drop it, but why does he look at you like that?"

Hayley:"Like what?"

Sami:"Never mind."

Hayley:"No, say what you were going to say. How does he look at me?"

Sami:"It's almost like he's trying to protect you or something."

Hayley:"I don't know. I have a match to get to."

Sami:"Good luck."

I hug him and go out to the ring.

Hayley vs Dana Brooke

(Skip match)

I hit a inverted DDT and win. The referee rises my hand, and Braun Strowman's music hits.

Part of me wants to run, but something is telling me to stay. He comes down to the ring, and starts to walk toward me.

Dana attacks me from behind. She throws me into corner, and tries to run at me. Braun stops her, and she leaves immediately.

Why did he help me? I start to exit the ring, and Braun grabs my arm. Sami starts running out.

Hayley:"Sami, stop! Trust me on this, and stay right there."

Sami surprisingly listens, and I turn back to Braun. We lock eyes. He runs his fingers through my hair and release my arm. I smile at him, and leave with Sami.

Sami:"What just happen?"

Hayley:"Nothing. Let's just go."

~Next Week~

I can't stop thinking about how his hand felt on my skin. How he made my heart race. I scroll through dozens of messages from everyone, about how distant I've been.

Yes, I've been distant. I've been quiet, but why wouldn't I be? There is a 6'9 monster that I can't stay away from. I can't explain this.

I'm so lost in my thoughts, that I walk into a wall. I look up and notice its Braun instead.

Hayley:"Sorry." I managed to whisper under my breath.

Braun:"It's okay." Damn, even his voice sends chills down my spine.

Hayley:"Um, thank you for last week."

Braun:"No problem."

I start walking away and Braun grabs my arm. He places a gentle hand on my waist, and titls my chin up to him.

Hayley:"I- I have to go." Sami pulls me away from him.

Sami:"STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HER!"

Sami takes me to his locker room.

Sami:"Are you okay?"

Hayley:"Yes. He isn't going to hurt me, I don't think."

Sami:"Just stay away from him."

I can't. I can't seem to even get this man off my mind.
