Chapter 8

We go to the gym and workout. Once we finish up the workout, Braun tilts my chin up to him.

Braun:"What's on your mind?"

Hayley:"This match."

Braun:"Its going to be fine. Sometimes, you have to take toxic people out of your life."

Hayley:"Yeah, maybe its for the best."

Braun kisses me.

Braun:"It is, princess."

We go to the arena.

Hayley:"I'll be back."

I go to find Sami. Once I get to my locker room, Sami kisses me.

Hayley:"Sami, you-"

Sami:"I'm sorry I was an asshole all this time. I just don't want you to be with anyone else. I like you a lot, I may even love you and I should have said something sooner."

Hayley:"Thank you, but I have no idea what to do now. I like you, I do, but there's Braun, and I got to cut off Finn."

Sami:"I know, but Braun isn't-"

Hayley:"He hasn't done anything wrong."

Sami:"Because he is using you. He knows that he is even more unstoppable with you."

Hayley:"I don't, this is only working for him because he's good. He's amazing in the ring, and he doesn't need my help."

Sami:"Yeah, but its doesn't hurt to have someone that will do whatver it takes to make sure you win."

Hayley:"And that's all you want to, huh?"

I leave and run into Finn.

Finn:"Are you read-"

Hayley:"Yeah, whatever."

I go find Braun. Once I get there I see Sami and Braun going at it, and Finn jumps right in. I try to stop them and I end up getting hit really hard.

Everyone stops and Braun immediately picks me up and refuses any medical attention for me. He takes me to his room.

Braun:"You can't referee this match, stay back here, okay."

Hayley:"I'm fine."

Braun:"Princess, no. You need to rest."

Hayley:"I don't need you looking after me. You're not my boyfriend."

Braun:"I-"

I get up and get ready for the match, I'm going out there.

Braun vs Sami vs Finn

Once everyone comes out, I walk down the ramp, and tell the referee to leave.

Braun:"What are you doing?"

I yell to the timekeeper to ring the bell.

Finn:"You shouldn't be out here."

I slap him and Braun goes after him. All three of them go at it.

~Skip match~

I grab a chair, a table, and some kendo sticks and throw them all in the ring. They start really beating the hell out of each other. I try to stop Braun and referees come out to stop the match after Braun knocks Sami unconscious.

~ Monday ~

Kurt:"Hayley, Braun get the hell out here."

Hayley:"Hey, Kurt."

Kurt:"Don't hey me, what was that last night?"

Hayley:"I was doing my job, I tried to stop it."

Kurt:"You started it in the first place, and you weren't even suppose to be out there."

Hayley:"I am the reason that this started so I needed to referee that match. I can't control Braun's actions."

Kurt:"You were endangering other employees with your actions, and B-"

Braun:"Eveyone is in danger when I am in the ring. Sami Zayn and Finn Bálor are afraid of me, and they are no longer competition to me."

Finn comes out.

Finn:"You may be a monster, but you have never faced a demon."

Braun:"Anyone can get these hands."

Kurt:"That match will not be taking place, because you are not cleared to compete.

He throws Finn out of the ring and into the steel steps.

Braun:"I do what I want, when I want, and how I want."

Kurt:"You can not just go around inj-"

Hayley:"That match should have never been made. There was no reason for Sami and Finn to stick their nose where it doesn't belong."

Sami:"And maybe if you didn't sleep with so many people and things like this wouldn't happen."

Braun:"You ever talk to her like that and I will knock your teeth down your throat."

Sami:"Look at that, you got another man to fight your battles."

Hayley:"Why do you have this issue with me? Huh maybe, because you couldn't confess your feelings for all these years? Or because your best friend did something that you couldn't."

Braun:"She doesn't want a man, Sami. She wants a monster."

Braun puts his arm around me.

Hayley:"We're done here."

We go backstage.

Braun wraps his arms around my waist.

Hayley:"Damn, you're getting me into so much trouble."

He kisses me.

Braun:"I told you I'd be trouble."

Hayley:"I don't mind."

I kiss him.

Braun:"You got a match today?"

Hayley:"I think so, someone has to get these hands."

I laugh.

Braun:"Don't steal my line, princess."

Hayley:"Your voice is so fucking sexy."

I jump on him.

Hayley:"I feel like this is being a regualr thing."

Braun:"Because you are so tiny."

Hayley:"No, you're too damn tall."

Braun:"Okay, princess."

I jump down and start going to his locker room.

Braun:"I don't care if people know about us."

Hayley:"It wasn't that, I just didn't want to have any more yelling. But uh, what are we exactly?"

Braun:"I do want you, like to myself."

Hayley:"I want to be with you too."

Braun:"Good."

I kiss him.

Braun:"How about we go out tonight for our first official date?"

Hayley:"Okay, I'd love that."
