Hey, I'm still alive! Forgive me for not updating at all, I've been busy with a bunch of school stuff. I'll try to update more often!!

~Lee's POV~

Samuel had finally managed to pry Charles off of the floor so they could actually get their grocery shopping done. The two strolled down the frozen foods aisle in search of  ice cream, hand in hand. Samuel was reading the signs hanging from the ceiling, while Charles was staring at his phone. He had gotten a Snapchat from Alexander Hamilton, of Alex and his boyfriend, John Laurens. Laurens and Hamilton were  at a drive in movie, wrapped in about a dozen blankets. Those two were a pretty cute couple, but Charles knew that he and Samuel were cuter.

"Hey, Sammy?" Charles said, admiring Samuel's face. He looked beautiful, illuminated by the lighting.

"Yeah?"

"Do you want my sweater? You have goosebumps."

"Oh! I do?" Samuel said, eyes flicking down to his arms.

"Yes, you do." Charles pulled his sweater off and draped it on Samuel. Since Sam was so much smaller than Charles, it went down to his knees and covered his hands. A huge grin painted itself across Charles's face, as Samuel started laughing. Charles wound his arm around Sam's shoulder and the two kept going down the aisle. As they walked, their steps in unison, Charles slipped off into his thoughts.

Charles glanced over at the clock, only two hours left of work. The bell on the library door rang in the distance, signaling that someone was there. He ran a hand through his hair, exhausted. Charles turned to greet whoever had entered, to find that they were already making their way towards the back. He lazily watched the back of the person's head until they turned behind a bookshelf. Absentmindedly, Charles grabbed his day-old coffee and downed it. Maybe the coffee would help him get through the last few hours of his shift, though his eyes were already drooping. Actually, his eyes were closed and he was half asleep.

"U-um... Excuse me? Mr... Lee?" Charles bolted up.

"I wasn't sleeping!" He said, as he searched for whoever had been speaking to him. His eyes finally rested on the guy in front of him, and Charles froze. He felt his face growing hotter by the second, the boy in front of him was just... perfect.

He had brown-orange hair, it was a bit long, but it suited him. He looked like someone had taken light brown paint and flicked it across his face. The guy was just plain adorable, the way his hands fidgeted and how his eyebrows were raised just the slightest, and the little tilt of his head. He wore an oversized hoodie, but somehow made it look good. The tips of his ears were bright red, just like the rest of his face. There were shadows under his eyes, which made sense since it was nearly midnight. Those eyes stared into Charles's for what seemed like eternity, until Charles messed it up and blinked back into reality.

"Oh, I um... Sorry I just... Your eyes are a lovely shade of green." Charles mentally slammed his face against the counter. Why did he say that?

"I'm sorry that was a really weird thing to say- um, how can I help you?"

"It's alright, it was a very kind thing to say. I just need to check out these books."  The guy had a slight British accent, which made him even cuter. He spoke softly, obviously nervous.

"Yeah, I can get these for you." Charles scanned the books, taking every chance to glance at the guy in front of him. He slid the books over the counter, with a small smile.

"Thank you, Mr. Lee."

"Oh, Charles is fine."

"Charles is a lovely name, I'm Samuel Seabury." Samuel. Charles had never realized how much he liked that name before. He also hadn't realized that he would end up falling even harder for Samuel, falling hard onto one knee and proposing years later.
