I felt my tears run down my cheek as I missed the feeling of his presence.
The feeling of his hands intertwined with mine.
The feeling of his plump lips tasting mine.
The feeling of his smile and when it was able to lift my spirit at any given moment.

"Get... get out." I pushed him off slightly catching him off guard.
My body felt the cold breeze from where his hands were once resting.
I shivered and almost couldn't keep my balance as I looked to him.
He was upset... in shock... and disappointed.
"Ok..."
"I'll go."
He walked off but before he left, he had placed something on the floor beside the door.
As he closed it, I cautiously went to check what it was.
And as soon as I saw it, my breath hitched and I felt the sobbing sadness of a breaking heart return.
"His ring...."

And as I closed the door, my back leaning towards it.
I sighed heavily while wiping away the tears that were unable to be contained any longer.
As I was about to leave, I heard the very quiet sound of the love of my life....
Sobbing.
