The Day I Met My Father

His 32 year old self: Corey was busying staring pictures at Skarlet's family photos. He wished that he could meet his dad in person for once. "Corey, are you okay," Skarlet asked Corey in a calm voice. Corey was crying in tears, covering his face with his hands. Skarlet sat next to him to comfort him "Oh, nothing Skarlet. It's.... That's... I never met my father. I just wish I could see him," Corey was crying. He just wanted to see his father. Skarlet called a private investigator to search for Corey's dad.

Corey was busying sleeping on his bed, drooling from tiredness. Someone knocked on the door. Skarlet looked in the peephole to see who it is. IT. WAS. COREY'S DAD. He was at the door. Skarlet was so happy to see him today just for Corey. She opened the door and let him in. They both went in the bedroom. "Guess who's here for you,"Skarlet was talking to Corey whose was still sleeping.  "My grandma," Corey lacked the guessing game, he was too tired. "No, silly. Your father," Skarlet was so happy to tell the news to Corey. Corey woke up and saw his real actual, no joke father. He got up and hugged him. He never thought he would see his father but this day has come. "Oh, father. Where have you been after all these years? I missed you man," Corey was crying uncontrollably. He finally get see his father in such a long time. "I been looking for you, man. I couldn't find you until this very day," Mr. Taylor hug him back, also crying.

Corey and Mr. Taylor had a heartwarming conservation. They both drank beer and laugh. They had a great time. Corey said to his father. "Man, who knew that my father was amazing back in the day," "And who knew that my son was a badass," Mr. Taylor replied and they both laugh. Mr. Taylor watch ding. It was time for him to go. But he didn't want to leave his son. "Umm, Corey, I gotta go," Mr. Taylor said to Corey. "Are you coming back later," Corey asked his dad whose was running to a taxi, looking behind to answer his question. "I'll always be there for you. No matter what it takes," Mr. Taylor waved goodbye to Corey ad Corey waved back with a smile. He got in the taxi and drove off. Corey was smiling, he hold a picture frame of his father so he can't never forget the day he met him, 32 years old.
