Perfection. Precision. That's always been my goal. If its not perfect its not worth it. My mom always said "Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away. I know that this is Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's quote but it ruled all of my childhood and most of my adulthood. I still live by it. Maybe its because of my obsession with perfection I don't have many friends but once in a while some people manage to see beyond my so called "scary exterior". I was just on my way to meet Jesse my best friend for coffee. We have been best friends since we were six. My dad is the CEO of a tech company called TechInnovater. Even though I had a very privileged childhood, my mom and dad did not. They love me very much but that did not mean that I was a spoiled princess. I worked for everything. I studied in a private school but I had a straight A's and I was a class valedictorian. I was now working as an intern trying to snag a place in my dad's company. I got everybody their coffee's and my dad had given strict orders so that I was not given any special attention of any sort. And when my dad ordered something people tended to listen. No extravagant gifts. So basically my childhood was like any other person's. Just add a huge house. I did whine about it, when my friends got so many gifts from their parents and looked so pretty with their huge wadrobes when I had to make do with the small closet I had. but i guess whatever they did was for my betterment. I was now independent with a small, overpriced apartment working hard for a more permanant job. But I was so much better off with the so called 'friends' that I go jealous of when I was younger. They were now either drug addicts, or in unhappy marrige's living a fake life or or in jail. So yeah I was good. Anyway I was on my way to meet my friend Amy and Nicole for lunch. Nicole was getting married to our other friend Jason:- Amy's brother. Nicole and Amy were worlds apart. Nicole is the girliest girl alive on the planet. If it was her way she would even wear pink for her wedding. Amy is a full fledged tomboy. She will not touch a dress with a ten foot pole. Nicole was very adamant that her maid of honour would wear only a dress. A baby pink dress. Amy was pretty sure that she would wear nothing but black. So it was decided that I would be the maid of honour and Amy would be the best woman. So I now had all the maid of honour duties. The first thing got started on was the bachelorette party. I had hired a wedding planner for the job. As Nicole and Jason were finishing their last years of internship and Amy had like zero intrest in wedding planning, I took up the responsibility of giving Nicole the perfect wedding. And I had six months. A bit cramped for me but I could manage. I had yet to meet the wedding planner that the agency had assigned for this job. But they were the best planning company in all of U.S.A. so I trusted the fact that we were in good hands. I had meet the planner for the bachelorette party so I was happy with them. So as I was talking to Nicole a Amy was shoveling food down her throat, I was a little disappointed to see that the mystery person was late. I was just starting to mention the decorations when I looked up to see him. The worst i expected was a flustered newbie that was all over the place. Her hair in a mess and all her files mixed up. What I saw was not even close. And I was in for a bigger surprise than i ever imagined.
So hey guys! here is the first chapter. I hope you like it. Its unedited so please excuse all mistakes. There is going to be slow updating so I'm sorry for that.
