Scars from the past
Will it ever pass
The wars I couldnt fight
Can I step up and shout with all my might
As I fight the battles within
Good and bad I am torn in between
Fighting the monsters under my bed
Setting things straight inside my head
Im tired of hiding in the shadows for all my life
While everybody out there is holding a knife
Stabbing at your back when your not looking
Being your friend even though they are lying
Not knowing what is fake and what is true
The scars from the past start to hurt again because of you
My shattered heart from all the betrayals I've taken
Will I need to seek revenge in order to get even
