Anti POV

It had been three days since Dark and I had gotten together. I was currently out at two in the morning walking the streets, Dark back at Y/n's apartment asleep. I kept my hood up, the sky a rumbling gray of a rainstorm. It poured down gently, not too much, not too little. It was calming, but I still kept a knife in my pocket.

Over the past month or so, I had mellowed out. I would say it was because of Y/n, but I wasn't too sure. I knew I had feelings for her, but some things weren't meant to be. I smiled a little, watching a few cars go by, a little girl passed out in the back seat of one. I continued on, not sure where I was going. I could suddenly feel eyes on me, ducking into a 24 hour coffee shop.

I flipped down my hood and walked up to the counter, the woman at the counter speaking to me.

"What'll it be, honey?" she asked, not looking up me.

"Caramel cappuccino, if ya would." I replied, her giving me a look before stumbling backward a bit. "Oh, sorry if I spooked ya." I smiled a bit.

She placed a hand on her chest with a smile, "No worries, honey. Your accent just startled me. I'll get that cappuccino for you." she punched in the numbers, let me pay, and headed to make it.

Once she came back with it, she asked my name.

I hesitated for a second, "Jack." I replied, almost slapping myself.

I saw her brighten, "As in JackSepticEye? I thought you sounded familiar." she handed me my drink.

I chuckled a bit, "Yeah... Jus' made my way ta see a friend." I took a drink.

"Well, if you have the chance, come back tomorrow, same time. I'll be working again." she responded, her face bright and slightly pink, "It's good seeing you. And enjoy that coffee."

I nodded, "I will, thank ya." I replied, walking out as I took another drink. The feeling of being watched had faded, myself starting to walk back to the apartment. When I got there, I opened the door quietly, kicked off my shoes, hung my coat, and tiptoed into my room.

Dark lay passed out on my bed, shirtless. The blanket covered his waist down, one leg sticking out. I smiled at him, quietly moving out to the balcony. I dug out a slightly crushed pack of cigarettes from my jean pocket, took one out, balanced it on my lips, and lit it. I drew in a puff, billowing out rings of off-white smoke into the night air.

I gave a content sigh, looking up into the rain-stricken skies. Doing so, I thought to myself, I could live like this forever.
