I look down as I try not to listen to Sarah. She is my worse tormentor. We used to be the best of friends she helped me out when I lost my family. But after we started high school she couldn't be seen around me. I look up at the new kid and sign. Just a new tormentor to add to my list. I jump as Mr. Hall calls my name.
" I'm sorry what was the question? "
He shakes his head " what was the reason why we celebrate valentines day Miss Wolf. "
"well, it depends on what religion you look at. "
He looks at me with his lips pressed shut he starts talking about Saint Valentine and the Celtics.
I get up as the bell rings and almost ran out of class. I see Cas waiting at my locker with a smile and brownies from his cooking class.
"Want some they're double chocolate"
" No, I am good I'm still full of Sam's hunter's omelet."
I walk with Cas to our math class and sit at the back of the room. And put on my headphones and tuned out the teacher as she goes over a view for the text tomorrow. I already know I'll pass it. I would have been in advance math had I not missed the last of my junior year by going to Alaska for my aunties wedding.
I walk to lunch and have my tray of food pushed out of my hand. So, I left to go to the library to hide from everyone. I looked up to see Alex walking to the lunch room. I quickly look down before he can see me looking.
I hide in the romance section. I pull out my favorite book bite the dust. And start reading it again. The bell rings as I get up from my hiding spot.
