I smile as I look over at Catherine. I shake my head. What is wrong with me. I walk through the rest of the day in a dazed. I have four classes with Miss wolf. And looked for her at lunch. But was disappointed when I see her leave with her head low. How can a beautiful woman be so troubled by such small-minded children? I was thinking about her as I walked into my cousin's house. Dionysus was in the kitchen cooking with a glass of wine in his hand. I never understood why he stays on earth with the humans. But I remember the last time I came to visit him. It was only 6 years ago but I remember the storm that Ares rained down showers of stone.
"What has your face looking like that." I look up to see him smiling like an idiot.
"Nothing that matters"
I walk up to my room still wandering about that fair skin human girl. Hera what is going on. Why do I even care what happens to the humans I have a job to do. I open my computer to see no new messages. I close it and sigh as I hear what sounds like wings. I roll my eyes as I walk to my window and see Hermes the messenger of the Greek gods.
"What do you want cousin."
"What can't I come check on you, Alex."
"Not from you. What is it?"
"Fine, there is a rumor that Ares may have been sited. So, keep an eye out."
I nod as I go to bed. It's going to be a long week with valentines day just 8 days away what am I going to do till then. I lay in my bed as I put my head phones in. As I close my eyes.
