"Ready for take off" said Dr.Drew as he smiled. This was the first attempt to go to mars. He was very nervous the Spaceship would over heat. He new the criticism he would receive if this went wrong.
"Ready" said Katie. Katie had been in space before. But never with a copilot this new. Especially since Joe was new. We've had many issues with new pilots. One being they complain about the food. They rant on and on about it. "It's to mushy" they say.
Dr.Drew watched as his spacecraft went up,up,up and away. He turned to the president of NASA hoping for an approving smile. He was instead returned with a skeptical look. This made Drew feel like a fool for trying to go send people to Mars with the little studies he did. He thought he knew what he was doing but not anymore. Not after that look.
Katie looked at Joe who was holding on to the seat like he was sure dead for.
"You know we're not even off the ground. That's just the engine starting" said Katie with a grin
"I know" said Joe looking like he was going to throw up."I'm sure you were like this when you had your first rid in a spaceship" Joe said trying to not look stupid
"My first ride was when I was little. I rode a spaceship rode at a theme park" Katie laughed
Joe was nervous. Not only because of the going to Mars but he always felt happy being around Katie. He always saw a future full of happiness.
