CHAPTER 12

REGINAS POV

Rebecca turned towards us, wiping the salty tears out of her eyes and breathed out deeply."So what now".

"Well I'd like to know how you got my mum out of her cell" melanie asked looking between Rebecca,issette and me her good eye shining.

"I'll tell you on the way back to the castle" I say quickly as we hurry off in the direction of the mountains where our castle lies.

"It started when I got a visit from your 'dear' older sister" I began

Sitting in my cell decorated withnothing but a table, chair and a gently glowing candle which I hold tightly in my hand watching the flames, almost lost in their dangerous beauty, completely ignoring the lonely guard standing right outside the cell watching my every move. if he hadn't coughed about half an hour ago I wouldn't have known he was there at all Iv been to busy thinking about what's happening to my poor daughters after they got dragged away from my near-execution.

All of a sudden the guard speaks but not to me "your highness"

"Leave us please" snows voice rings out seconds later breaking the silence.

"But I have direct orders from the Prince" the guard argues

"And now you have direct orders from me" snow says giving the guard "the look" to which he nods and leaves.

"First you stop my execution then you defy your prince to see me.should I be worried there's trouble in paradise" Regina looks up from the candle with a smirk.

"I'm not here to talk about my fiancé"

"Then why are you here"

"I know you weren't always like this Regina, the woman who saved my life all those years ago had good in her"

"That woman lost much,and now she's gone"

"maybe" snow whispered with a gleam of hope in her eyes "but as hard as you try to bury her, i think shes still inside you"

scoffing regina rolls her eyes "no shes not"

however hard snow tried to hide her smile from her she could still see the corners of her lips rise ever so slightly "all you need, is for someone to let her out"

looking back downat the candle regina hear the click of a key being turned and looked at snow startled as she unlocks her cell door and swung it open

"what are you doing?" Regina asks startled and confused not believing her eyes

"im letting the woman who saved my life go. this is your chance to start fresh regina. to leave the evil behind in this cell"

standing up regina slowly inched towards snow with a smile on her face "just like that?"

snows grin widens "just like that"

moving out of the sell her smile turns into a scowl. whirling around regina smashes snow into the wall chocking her,leaning in close she muttered "you make change sound so easy"

suddenly snow pulls a knife out of nowere attempting to stab regina....as if she didn't expect that to happen. grabbing it out of her hand regina grinned "did you really think this would protect you?" She chuckled "since i cant use magic i can think of no better way, then to use the blade you had ment for me. goodbye snow white"

"no" snow chokes out before regina stabs her in the stomach.

"yes" regina says grinning, but that grin is quickly replaced with shock as snow shakes her head "no' she says causing regina to take a step back, bringing the knife with her as she watches snows wound heal itself.

"that's impossible" she gasps dropping the knife.

"no, that's magic" snow says walking over to the doorway where charming now stands. "and this time it wasn't thanks to fairy's...rumpelstiltskin" charming smirks waving a pouch in the air "he took one of your hairs off of this and used it to cast a protection spell. now theres nothing you can do in this land to hurt me or snow, your powerless against us".

this caused regina to gasp "you tricked me" she said turning to snow

snow shook her head "it wasn't a trick it was a test, one that I had truly hoped you'd pass"

"we wanted to give you a chance to change regina" charming said almost sadly

snow closed her eyes and took a deep breath "regina you are banished, banished to live alone with your misery" she declared. "so long as your in this world, you cant hurt us" charming shrugged.

snow shook her head walking up to regina "you saved my life once, and now I've saved yours. so now were even, and if you ever try hurt anyone in my Kingdome again I will kill you"

regina just glared at the pair as they left the room walking back down the tower

"oh... wow" Melanie puffs out of breath as we reach the bridge leading into the castle.

"i cant believe that just happened" issette grumbled sitting down on the ground next to her sister and looked over at me "what are we going to do with her" she nods towards becca

"hey! I'm the reason you two aren't still in the dungeons you should be thanking me" becca shouted placing a hand on her chest in mock hurt

"hmm...that's true, becca because you helped my daughters and I escape you may live with us" I smiled "what do you say?"

"well I'm pretty sure the charming's wouldn't take her back with open arms....so why not!" mel grins

"I agree with mel, becca you don't have anywhere else to go plus the charming's will have your face plastered on wanted posters all over their Kingdome, you should stay with us" issette nodded

"well...alright ill stay" becca grinned causing mel and isse to cheer and run over to becca and hug her "yes another sister" they shouted.

"welcome on girls lets go inside cause I don't know about you but I'm starving and want some good non-prison food!!" I grin and watch as all three of the girls run into the castle gates shouting how 'they could eat a whole whale' by now. I follow chuckling to myself "I wish this could last forever" I whisper to myself.

A/N: hey guys! im so sorry its taken me a year to update but I was very busy with school and yes I know this chapter is short but at least I got something out right? well anyway iv already gotten an idea for the next chapter and will start writing it tomorrow
