"Ring" "Ring" went the bell as everyone rushed to class. I walked into class with Melody seeing Kennity walking up to us with a little smirk on her face.
"Hey Kayla I see your still hanging out with Melody." said Kennity with a smile on her face trying to annoy us.
"Yeah got a problem with it?" said Melody stepping forward almost making the motion of handing me her books.
"Nope just feeling sorry for her." said Kennity looking at both of us.
"Your just jelous of me Kennity because I finally found a friend that appreciates me." I said looking at her with a scowel.
"Uh, whatever." said Kennity looking at me while turning around while flipping her hair. Then sashayed to her seat. I walked with Melody to our seats. Melody sat two rown in front of me. I sat on the end of the row and Jasper sat on the other side of the class room. He looked at me with a big smile I rolled my eyes at him.
"Hey I have to meet you after school O.K.?" I said to Jasper leaning over so he can hear me.
"Why?" Jasper asked looking at me with a wierd face.
"Just trust me O.K.?" I said looking at him.
"Um, O.K.?" said Jasper looking at me funny.
"Hello children" said Mrs. Outmeir "get your homework out and turn it into the tray."
"Ug." went the whole class.
"Hey it's not my fault if you didn't do it." said Mrs. Outmeir
I walk over to the tray and toss my homework in it. Then I walked back to my seat and got out my notebook, and took a couple sheets of paper out. Then I wrote "Meet me after school in the parking lot." on six pieces of paper all saying the same thing. Then folded each of them and put them in my pocket. I look at the time then back at the white board and start taking notes.
"Ring" "Ring" went the bell everyone shot up from their desks and raced to the door to get to second period. I meet up with Melody and Jasper waiting for me outside of the class room. As we walk down the hallway I walk past Jaelin's locker and slip the paper inside I do this to Jasper, Jace, Max, and Mindy as I slip the final piece of paper into the locker I walk to second period with Jace.
"Hey so do you ever go to your locker?" I asked looking at him.
"No why?" Jace said looking at the floor watching his step. He had always been clumpsy like me.
"Well you need to sometime today." I said looking at him then the floor making shour that I don't trip and make a fool of my self.
"I forgot my locker combo." said Jace looking at the floor then me.
"Fine then, you have to meet me after school in the school parking lot right after school got it?" I asked looking into his eyes.
"Why?" said Jace looking back at me.
"Ug you people always need an explination don't you!" I said getting annoyed.
"Calm down Kayla what's wrong?" said Jace grabbing my arm. I stared into his eyes, but most of it was covered with his black hair.
"Fine I got a note from someone at my bus stop this morning he slipped it into my pocket when he bumbed into me. Here look for your self and that isn't my handwriting so if you don't believe me" I said handing him the note. He took the note and read it. "that's why I'm gathering everyone after school."
"Um, O.K. now I'm scared" said Jace, "what are we going to do?"
"I don't know, but right now let's try and suvive the rest of the school day." I said trying to cheer him up. As we walk to our second period class were both speechless. Until Jace breaks the ice.
"Um, so do you know who the guy is?" asked Jace softly looking at me with a concerened look on his face.
"If I did I would have gone to the cops already!" I said looking at him.
"Well sorry I didn't know just trying to gather infor" said Jace before he tripped over the janitor's bucket falling face first luckely he cought him self before any real damage could happen. "mation"
"Smooth." I said while trying to control my laughter.
"Can you at least help me up?" said Jace looking up at me from the floor. I helped him up then we walked into second period together. Their was a sub today so me and Jace sat together. It was a short class and when we had a sub we didn't do anything so I talked to Jace the whole period about what had happened.
"So you want all of us to meet you after school?" said Jace looking at me then the note. He had the same reaction as Melody once he realized what was happening. "Wait, so you want me to meet you with your friends after school?"
"Yes what do you not understand about that?" I said looking at him.
"But you said to gather all of your friends, and you invited me so that means I'm your friend." said Jace with a smirk on his face trying to be funny.
"Shut up." I said smiling although we were all probably going to die I still managed to put a smile on my face.
"O come on you know you love me." said Jace with a joking tone. I sat their with him the rest of the period working on the worksheet that the sub had given us. The bell rang and I walked out with him. Mindy walked out of her second period class she saw our backs and ran straight for us. She managed to catch up with us, but she also managed to almost knock me down.
"Hey guy's!" said Mindy very loudly. "So what cha up to?" When I was about to respond. "Oh wait don't speak yet hey Kayla I got your note in my locker I am siked. It's a get together with everyone!"
"Um no it's not a party I have to tell everyone something very important. It's a life or death situation." I said looking a her expression from a happy teenage girl ready to party from a frown.
"So no party?" said Mindy looking at the floor now sad. "But my outfit came together, and everything." she said whinning. "So what is it then a meeting?" she looked at me with curious eyes.
"Um, yeah shour." I said trying to make her smile again, but even if she got her happy, little smile back it would soon turn into a screaming nightmare for everyone.
"O.K." said Mindy "we still have my party next week." she said all perky again. Sometimes I hate her perky side, to much happy, but then I also hate it when she is sad. Because she is usualy happy, but when she is sad it's like blocking out the sun.
"I walked with Mindy to my third period class. Her third period class was right across the hall from mine so once we reached our destination we hugged each other and said.
"See you in 30 minutes." We both laughed and took our sperate ways. I walked into the class room, and took my seat then the bell rang. The teacher walked to the front of the room and called out peoples names tking the attendance.
"Kayla? Kayla? Kayla!" said the annoyed teacher.
"Oh right sorry here." I said blushing. Everyone looked back at me like they were dissapointed. I was in the back of the room so if someone looked back they would see me. I just sat around working on my homework until the bell rang. Once it did everyone shot out the room like rockets. I just casually walked out the room meeting Mindy and Melody and Jasper in the hallway they were talking about Mindy's party.
"Yeah it will be a huge party and everyone will be their." said Mindy flipping her hair. I walked behind her putting my head on Mindy and Melody's shoulders.
"If I didn't know myself I would swear you sould like one of those popular people." I said looking at her and Melody they started laughing becuase knowing Mindy. She would never turn to the dark side she may have looked like a popular, but on the inside she was really a tom-boy. Jaelyn walked up to us with a big smile on her face. She was wearing a black shirt over her skinny body with a pair of nice jeans. With a pair of converses to top it off.
"Hey muchachos." said Jaelyn smiling walking toward us. "Hey Kayla I got your message I will be their as long as someone picks us up because I may look like I'm in shape, but nope!" We laughed lightly at her joke. A teacher came out when we were talking about recent events. He had told us to go to class we started to walk to our next class. Until Max, Jace's sister, came up to us.
