I tried to lean over, but my back was to soar. So it took me a while to lean across the hospital bed. Once I was in reach of the note I quickly grabbed the note and fell back in my normal position. I looked at the note it was folded differently than the first one, but was folded the same way as Max's note. I opened the paper. Then I read what is say's. "That was some fall you had their to bad their wasn't a slippery sign." I looked around the room trying to look if their are any human like figures. Their wern't so I kept looking at the note it was the same handwriting as Max's note. I started to freak out until one of the nurses walked into the room. I slipped the note under my body before the nurse could see it. She came up to me and checked the monitors.

"Would you like any thing like a drink or some food?" said the nurse looking at me with a fake smile.

"Um, shour could I have some water please?" I said looking at her hospital gown. She left the room to get me some water. You could tell she rolled her eyes when she turned around. Nurse's only had to put a smile on their faces in front of the patients. Once she left I didn't know what to do I was to soar to make an escape. Then I saw my phone sitting beside where my glasses were placed I grabbed it and looked at the screen. There was 7 notifications they were all text messages. Two from Melody, one from Mindy, two from Jasper, and one from Jace and Max. The other one was a number I didn't know I looked at the number and it was a number from California.

"California?" I said looking at my phone. "I don't know anyone from California." I looked at the message and it said.

~That was a close one! You almost died, but not yet thou that's my job.~

I looked at the message and read it several times before I knew it was for me. I made a group text for Mindy, Jasper, Max, Jace, Melody, and Jaelyn.

~Hey guy's I'm in the hospital meet me here ASAP!!~

After I sent the message I heard several rings going off. Then everyone walked into the room. I saw Mindy and Melody run towards me they started to hug me.

"Did we get here fast enough?" said Jasper looking at me with the cuts on my face. He had a huge smirk knowing that I made a simple mistake, but knowing Jasper he would hold this over my head for the next five years. If I even lived that long.

"Shut up I didn't know you guys were out their." I said looking at him I gave him the death stare, but he shrugged it off. "Well here are we done woth the hugs?" I looked around at everyone waiting for the clear of no more hugs. Then when I was about to talk Max came up to me and hugged me. "O.K. now are we good?" No one said anything so I went on. "i got his text message from someone in California look it says, That was a close one! You almost died, but not yet thou that's my job." As I read it out loud everyone turned from smiles ane hugs to frowning and worry. "Does anyone know someone from California?" I asdked hoping for an answer. Everyone just looked at eachother for an answer.

"Are you O.K. so we can get you out of here?" asked Jace "Hospitals freak me out their's death every where." He looked at me with my few cuts he assumed I was O.K.

"I am a little soar, but I can leave it's not like I'm going to be in a critical situation from falling down a few stairs." I said getting up I still had my clothes on they didn't change me in any hospital gown. I got up from the bed, and signed out. As we walked out of the hospital I limped a little. Once we got to the doors they opened on their own their was a cool breeze on my face it was a little chilly, but nothing you need a coat for. We walked to Jace's car he opened the door and we all crawled in I sat in front I wasn't going to be squished after I fell down some staris. "Hey guys I have been thinking I don't think me falling down the stairs was an accident."
