It was late and she had to go home because the light that she held was never meant for darkness.
"Do you want me to take you home?"he asked her the usual as his smile never faltered.
"Yes,but we will have to walk two blocks from down the street to my new apartment."she explained.Then his smile dropped.
"You got a new apartment?"he questioned.
"Yes." is all she uttered.
"Well,I can drop you off there with my new car." he explained.
"You got a car?" she questioned.
"Yes." is all he uttered.
