The princess to your commoner

      DONNIE POV 

         I woke up the next morning with 7 faces looking straight at me. Chloe was the first to ask a question. "What happened to April?" She said her hands on her hips. I sighed and looked in my bedroom door. "She... well... I will let her tell you that." Chloe crossed her arms mumbling something along the lines of  "I bet it was that Casey idiot why does she have to go out with him I keep telling her he is bad news but Nooooo" I couldn't help but chuckle at Chloe's temper tantrum. "Dude... Did you guys...." Mikey began making motions with his had by putting his index finger in a hole he made with him thumb and other index finger. "MIKEY NO" "You little nasty" Chloe said giving Mikey a look. "What?" He asked offended. 

     "I will just let her tell you okay?" 

I walked into the kitchen and got myself an orange. I started peeling it when the doors flew open. "Hey, Donnie where's April at?" Casey began to look around. I growled. 

"None of your concern Casey." 

Casey looked at me and took notice of my attitude. 

"I bet you know what happened last night. Man listen. Girls like me, I can't help that. But I do love April. I want to be with her...."

"While being able to make out with other girls that walk into your date?" 

Casey looked at me and put his hands on his hips. 

"Listen like I said I can't help it if hot girls like Casey Jones."

I stood up and threw my orange peels in the compost. 

"She deserves so much better than you Jones!"

Casey chuckled. "Who could she get thats better than the one and only Casey Jones? you? You're just a turtle, you are more a pet than a boyfriend." 

I couldn't speak anymore words. That left me dumbfounded. I wanted to lock myself up in my room. But April was there. He would just follow me. 

Scarlette walked out into the living room from the hallway where my room was located. I felt like I should duck andd cover because she looks pissed off.  Casey smiled and walked up to her. 

"Scarlette! Donnie is being difficult so maybe you can tell me. Where is April? I need to apologize for my behavior last night." 

Scarlette basically towered over him. She crossed her arms. "Mm. and what are you sorry for?" Casey groaned. "That isn't important." Scarlette lifted herself from leaning ageinst the wall and chuckled. I hid under the table. "Hmm Thats okay because I already know." 

Casey groaned again. "Whats the big deal? It was one little incident it's not like I tortured her. 

Casey tried to pass Scarlette but she grabbed his ankles and his throat. She spun him around having him land outside the rovolters.  "You have no clue how 'one little incident' can torture a woman Casey Jones" 

       THREE WEEKS LATER 

Narrator POV 

  Donnie and Leo were rummaging through old junk at the junk yard and came across an old fairy tale book called 'The Brave Castle Worker' Donnie was amazed at how vintage the book looked. Leo and Donnie took it home and shared it to the others. 

  "Whoa cool! look how pretty and colorful it looks!" Mikey said poking it. 

Violet lowered her glasses. 

"It looks so old. what year do you think?" 

Donnie looked at it for a while. 

"1940's probably!" Violet smiled "Wow!" 

Scarlette held it in her hands. "Do you wanna read it?" 

Everyone sat in a circle and Scarlette opened the dusty book. 

"Once upon a time in a far away land there was a princess.... She was beautiful and gracefull. She was loved throughout the land her name was Princess Layla. One day the king declared that the princess marry a prince. His name was Prince Richard. The princess was excited. She loved the prince very much. She was impressed that he seemed to love her as well. She one day met the prince in person. He was everything she hoped. Charming kind, and very funny! But while they were getting plans made for their wedding the princesses beautiful step-sister walked in. Prince Richard took notice of the beautiful lad. She and the prince talked for hours.  Layla felt ignored, and replaced. The prince continued to court her step-sister while being engaged to Princess Layla. Layla did not like this at all. The night before her wedding her best friend and highest Castle worker Phillip walked into her room with her dinner. The princess was sobbing out of heart break. Phillip sat next to the princess and asked her What was wrong. "Oh Phillip" the princess cried. "I am engaged to be married tomorrow to a Prince that doesn't even love me!" She sobbed into Phillip's shoulder. "There there now you're majesty! I am sure this will come to pass and you will find someone to love" Layla looked down to the ground. "I feel oh so pathetic Phillip! Will there be anyone who will take care of me! Or am I destined to live this life forever!" Phillip wiped the princesses tears. This broke his heart. For Phillip loved the princess and one day planned to ask the king for her hand. But alas he is nothing but a commoner and the princess would never see him more than that. The next day the wedding went on. Once the priest asked for objections. a hand was raised and a voice spoke. "I object!" The princess looked in the direction of the voice. "Phillip!" The prince drew his sword and walked down the isle. "Commoner who dares to disrupt Prince Richard's wedding!?" Phillip walked down the isle. "I object for this prince is not faithfull to his princess! he has continued to love another while he was engaged to Princess Layla. and I challenge him for her hand in marriage!" The duel went on and on eventually Phillip won. He took Layla into his arms. "I know I am but a mere commoner but your majesty I will love you till the day I die." So Phillip and Princess Layla married and lived happily ever after... the end." 

     Scarlette smiled and handed the book to Leo. 

"Well I just had my fill of gross and weird." Raph said getting up Scarlette following. 

"Why because your not man enough to do something like that for a girl you love?" Scarlette challenged. 

"Oooooooo....." Everyone followed. 

"N-n-no. I'm just not into that stuff."

"I see fortunately for you I am." Scarlette kissed Raph on the cheek and walked into the dojo. 

Raph stood there shocked. 

"Well. It is a little late. why don't we get to bed guys?" 

Everyone got up and walked to their rooms. 

"You sure you don't need me to walk you home April?" Donnie asked 

"I think I might stay here again. if you dont mind" 

Donnie chuckled. "Of course not April!" 

April walked up to Donnie and hugged him. 

"Donnie..." She kissed him on the cheek then pressing her forehead to his. 

"I am the princess to your commoner...." 

They both stayed there frozen. 

"I...think...I...." April almost passed out in his arms from exhaustion. 

Donnie placed her on his bed and walked out onto the couch with a pillow and blanket in his hand. 

He layed down and looked at the ceiling..
