Chapter 8

Kawais POV
I woke up to someone's arms wrapped around me, I turned around so I was facing them I opened my eyes and was shocked to see Dylan lying there sound asleep. I sat up, the memories of last night came back, of what I said, of what Dylan said. I was suddenly really tired, I layed back down and cuddles into Dylan. I felt him wake up and look around, he then layed back down and pulled me closer to him, I could feel him breathing, the rise and fall of his chest against mine, I then fell into a deep deep sleep. I woke up again but this time the bed was empty next to me, had it all been a dream? That's when I looked over and saw a note "hey Kawai, went to go get food, brb!" I smiled to myself, guess it wasn't a dream. When Dylan came back I was on the verge of sleep, I could kinda see him and hear him, I'm guessing he thought I was asleep because he didn't come and give me my food. He sat down and stared at the floor like he was thinking of something. I turned to my side so I could see him, but all he thought I was doing was moving in my sleep. He looked up at me and smiled, he stood up and walked over to me. He brushed some of my hair behind my ear, he then grabbed my hand and held it.

Kiana POV
I cracked open the door to see Dylan and Kawai laying in the hospital bed together. They looked so cute, I grabbed my phone and took a million pictures! But I thought Dylan hated kawai? That's when I realized how tired I was, Taylor took me home and told me he would take me tomorrow morning.

The next morning I woke up and Taylor and I drove to the hospital, when we got there I open the door two see Dylan holding Kawais hand and looking down at her like she was the most beautiful person there ever was. "Ahem" Dylan jumped and let go of Kawai's hand, that woke up kawai too because she jumped up and sat up straight. "I see you to are awake, oh and have McDonalds," I ran over to the food but before I could grab it Dylan snatched it and handed it to kawai, "no that is for Kawai". " oh sorry, didn't realize you got food for your girlfriend." I said laughing a bit "she's not my girlfriend, she just a really close friend" he said looking down at the floor. "Oh really because you guys seemed cozy last night?" His head shot up "
W-What are you talking about?" I grabbed my phone and showed him the picture, his cheeks turned a bright red. "Hey kawai-.. oh" I said looking down at the now asleep kawai. I talked to Dylan for a little bit and then went back home.

Dylan POV
I looked at the peaceful kawai that laid before me, what did I do to deserve you? I thought to myself. I bent down and kissed Kawais forehead " good bye kawai" I said heading towards the door "wait can you stay with me?" I heard kawai say, I turned around and looked at her. "Please I get nightmares about the crash" she said looking down. All I did was nod and climb back into the bed, kawai was facing me cuddled into my chest "Don't worry kawai, I will always be here for you" I said placing a small kiss on her lips.

Kawais POV
I was cuddled into Dylan's chest not really asleep,yet. "Don't worry kawai, I will always be here for you" he said placing a small kiss on my lips, I guess he heard the heart monitor start beeping like crazy because he slightly chuckled and cuddled down with me. I know that I'm suppose to hate Dylan because of how he has treats me,  it it's kinda hard to hate this awkward dork that is by my side. I started to sift into a deep sleep...

"Come on kawai, pleeeeease drive me home?" My Kiana asks me drunk out of her mind. " fine, but your going right to bed" I say taking out my keys as we walk out of the bar. "Yes mom" kianna answers in a sarcastic tone. I start the car and start driving, kiana is fiddling with the radio until she reaches her favorite song, she starts singing and dancing like crazy. "Come on kawai sing with me!!" She stands up in her seat and starts opens the sunroof. "Kiana get down" I say trying to focus on the road and Kiana. I look up at Kiana and she's pointing in front of her with horror written on her face "truck!!" I look at the bright lights before me until everything goes black.

I wake up a bright light shining down on me, I sit up and look around, Dylan was in the corner with his head in his hands and next to him was a sorry for loss balloon. "Dylan?" I whisper, his head shoots up and his bloodshot eyes look at me. "Kawai, oh my god you're awake!" I smile at Dylan as he comes over to me. He sits beside me and takes my hand. " Dylan why do you have that balloon, and where is Kiana?" His face falls as I ask this question. " kawai, she past away, she died on impact." I felt tears start to burn my eyes as I look at Dylan is disbelief. " and it's all your fault, it's your fault she went out that night, that she got drunk, that she was in the car, it's all your fault." He says as he stands up and walks to the edge of the bed. "W-what are you talking about?" I ask tears rolling down my cheeks. "Ha, you don't get do you. You" he says pointing a finger at me " the worthless piece of shit my sister hanged out with got her killed, you got my sister killed" he says calmly. "And now I'm going to repay her" he says walking over to my machine "bye kawai"

I jolt up and gasp for air, Dylan immediately wakes up and looks around. "Kawai are you ok?!" He asks reaching out to hold my hand, but I pull away " no-no please don't hurt me, please. I'm sorry I didn't mean to kill her, please I'll do anything just don't hurt me." I say sobbing. I start to hyperventilate and sob even harder. "Kawai, calm down I'm not going to hurt you, kawai looked at me" he cups my cheeks and makes me look at him " I'm not going to hurt you, I could never" he says in a soothing voice. I hour him and lay back down, I'm soon cuddled into his side and falling asleep again

Dylan's POV
I look down at Kawais tear stained cheeks. It broke my heart to see kawai like this, I know I hated her but I never knew why I did. I wiped away a tear that rolled down Kawais cheek. I just stayed there staring at kawai until I saw a flash and heared a click, I turned to the door way to see Taylor holding up his phone with a smirk on his face. "Uh hi Taylor! What are you doing here?" I ask removing my hand from Kawais face. "Just wanted to check up on kawai and see if she's ok but clearly you got that covered." He says smirking while looking at me then kawai. "I'm worried about her Taylor" his face softened at how series I sounded. " we all are" he said sitting down. " she woke up gasping for air and when I tried to hold her hand she pulled away and told me not to hurt her and that she didn't mean to kill her, she just kept repeating please don't hurt me to her. It broke my Heart to see her like that" he just looked at me like I just told him that I own a unicorn. " you actually care about her?" He questions "yeah, why are you looking at me like that?" "Dylan, you realize that the whole time Kiana and kawai have been friends you were such a jerk to her." I looked down at the floor " and for what, please Dylan explain to me why" I look up to him " I don't know, but all I know now is that something clicked in me I don't know what it is but it's this weird feeling. I get butterflies whenever I am close to her and when she  looks at me the whole world stops, and-and when she told me to not hurt her my heart shattered." I confessed, I looked up at Taylor and he had a smile on his face "you like kawai"
