Second Deadly Sin 2: Envy

Envy: A feeling of discontent or resentful longing arp used by someone else's possessions, qualities or luck

I looked on from behind my desk and glared at her. I can't believe she stole my promotion, once again. Everyone in the office was congratulating her. It was starting to make me sick.

I kept my head down and continued working, not wanting to get involved in everyone's excitement. I hate how whenever I achieve something she seems to overshadow it.

The time I announced my pregnancy with my first child, she had to come along an announce that she was also pregnant, but with twins. And I can't forget the tim I announced that my boyfriend had proposed to me and I was showing off my 2 carat gold ring. The next day, she shows up to work and flashes a 10 carat diamond ring and says how her boyfriend also proposed to her.

That's not the thing that bothers me the most though. It's the fact that whenever I announce something, no one seems to care about what I have to say. But the minutes she says it, everyone seems to come flocking towards her. And then she comes to me and acts as if she has absolutely no idea what she has done.

I absolutely envy her in every shape, way and form.
