As they traveled to Beckett's manor, which was a bumpy ride and made Val feel quite sick, she didnt notice herself staring at norrington, who she had to admit was very handsome, she ignored Mercer as she didnt like him at all.
Once they arrived at the manor, Val was pushed out the carriage by Mr Mercer, she glared at him.
"stop shoving me!" she nearly shouted, Mercer glared at her, which made Val slightly nervous. Val noticed Beckett get off his white horse, the rain stopped but Valerie was still wet and now cold, she began to shiver slightly.Val only just noticed his manor, it was more like a mansion, big, lovely brick built, lots of land and plants. Beckett walked closer to Valerie, now that the rain and mist had gone, he could see her better, from what he saw, he thought this girl looked precious and was actually very gorgeous, Val never thought that though, but Beckett also thought this girl was very strange, maybe mad. Val did feel like she was losing her head, considering this seemed so real.
Val only just noticed how close the Lord was standing to her, she looked at him and gulped.
"Mr Mercer take Miss doyle, or whoever she is, to my study." Beckett demanded. Mercer nodded and grabbed her arm, making her stumble, she was pushed in the manor, she looked around in awe, at the rich brown wood, big paintings, lots of space and hardly any furniture, well thats rich people.Val was soon dragged up the stairs and pushed into a big fancy study, bookcases everywhere, some whiskey bottles, and ornaments. Mercer looked at her with almost disgust, Val just gave him the same look.
Once Beckett entered the room, he excused Mercer and shut the door, Val wondered what on earth this fictional character was capable of, she wasnt even sure if he was even fictional anymore. All she kept thinking was, what the hell happened?!
Beckett looked at her up and down again at her odd clothing.
"miss Doyle...is it? You obviously are not from London, or port royal-" Beckett was cut off when Val spoke up in urgency."yes! Im not from here at all...okay, I dont know what happened! I just woke up in a street, I dont know how I got here...im from the-" would he really believe her if she told the truth, he would think she's mad.
"I mean im from, uh far away, but I dont know how I got here." Beckett really did look at her like she was mad.
"yes well...obviously so you are from far away."Beckett stared at her a bit longer, thinking she looked precious, which made him smirk a little.
"miss Doyle, you can stay here, and we can see what this whole situation is all about." Valerie nodded at him.
"but do not speak out of Line...understand?" val nodded again.
"and you cant walk around like that, whatever your wearing, you'll have to dress like other women." that made Val roll her eyes, she didnt want to wear those uncomfortable dresses, but this wasnt the 21st century, this was the 18th century."Mr Mercer!" Beckett called, Mr Mercer walked in.
" yes sir."
"take Miss Doyle to her room, then get the carriage ready, I'll be going out." Mercer nodded and looked at Val.Valerie followed Mercer up the big staircase, he took her to a big grand room, Val looked around at the old fashioned but beautiful room.
"stay here until someone gets you." Mercer shut the door and left Val alone.Valerie sat on the big bed and sighed.
"what the hell happened." her phone then fell out of her pocket, she gasped and picked it up, she looked at her phone but there was no signal or internet, Val groaned and put her phone in a draw on one of the tables, to keep it safe, she turned it off to save battery. Val laid down on the bed and fell asleep, it'd be best to sleep and she hoped she would wake up, and find that this was just a bad dream.
