Ty was looking through the pictures of when he and Adam where newlyweds. He studied each picture closely and recalled all the adorable memories the two shared. The memories ranged from whipped cream fights, to romantic Ferris wheel rides, and the wedding. He couldn't help but giggle at the picture of himself smashing cake into Adam's face.

"Why are you so giggly?" Adam asked as he entered the living room.

"Heh heh. I'm just recalling some memories." Ty giggled.

Adam looked over at the photo album and smiled. "So, I see."

He then sat down by Ty and the two both proceeded to look at the memories the two shared.

After a few more minutes of looking at the photos, Ty decided to speak up about what had been on his mind for the past few days. "Hey, Adam?" Ty shyly asked.

"Yeah?"

"I think it’s time we adopt a child." Ty whispered.

For a few moments Adam was speechless. He was beyond shocked because he had discussed this topic with Ty a few years ago. Ty had told him it was too early for them to have a child and that they had to settle in first before they would even think of adopting a kid.

“Uh, A-Adam?”

Adam shook out of his thoughts after he realized that he had been zoning out. “I think that is a great idea!” At this point, Adam couldn’t contain his large grin any longer. He was grinning so much, his cheeks started to hurt. Ty smiled at Adam and started to lean against his husband of five years.

“Soooo, Do you want a girl or a boy?” Adam asked.

“Girl. Definitely a girl. I want to spoil her so much and teach her how to do her hair.” Ty whispered.

Adam glanced over to Ty and saw the faint blush that dusted his lover’s face. At that moment in time, everything felt perfect. All the hardships they had gone through made this moment worth every bit of pain and hard work to be together. Adam slowly turned himself towards his husband and lifted Ty by his chin gently.  “I think a girl would be best too” He whispered to Ty as he gently kissed him on the lips.
