I screamed to the top of my lungs. The dream ended and so did my life. I fell into darkness as the killer pulled the trigger. The darkness disappeared but my vision was extremely blurry. I felt around the bed for Kevin, where I could cling onto him but he was not there. Suddenly, I heard a bang.

"Is everything alright?" Kevin asked worriedly.

"Oh Kevin," I said starting to cry. "I had a terrible dream. I can't see either. We need to find Augustus. I'm gonna die. He's gonna die. Your gonna..."

"Aubina," Kevin said calmly.

"Kevin, we are all g-"

"Hush," he said putting his finger on my lips. Then, he removed his finger and brushed his hand through my hair. He pulled me closer and touched my lips gently. I felt his soft lips that, for some reason, tasted like cigarettes and alcohol mixed with the sweetness of a Hersey's kiss. It tasted good. He tried to push away but I wouldn't let him. I pushed him closer. I admit I really liked it when he kissed me. Finally, I pushed his body away and slowly opened my eyes. My vision was back completely.

"Breakfast is ready," he whispered with a smile. He was shirtless still and was really hot. I stared into his eyes. "How's your vision?"

"Perfect," I said smiling too.

"Good," he replied grabbing my hand and bringing me into the kitchen. He sat me down at the table. I sat still staring at him. His shirtless, sexy self. Wait, what?

"Do you like what you see?" He snickered.

I hesitated and looked down at the bacon and eggs on my plate. He stared at me and laughed.

"Hey, I don't mind if you stare at me," he said. "I mean you are my girlfriend, right?"

"Girlfriend?" I asked surprisingly.

"Well, yeah. We've kissed once then just a while ago. Isn't that a sign we are dating?"

I was completely surprised and mind blown.

Suddenly, the front door busted open.

"Freeze!!!" Three officers yelled at the same time. Masks covered there faces as they pointed their guns at me and Kevin.

"What's going on?" Kevin asked worriedly.

"Kevin Lasky, you made the worst mistake of your life."

"What?"

An officer came up and held a gun to my head. Two officers appeared out of no where around Kevin, one to his left, one to his right, both holding guns in hands.

"Come with us or else the runaway gets it," the lead officer said.

"Nev-" Kevin began to say before I interrupted.

"No, Kevin. Don't do this. I rather never see you again than you never see me again."

"But, Aubina."

"Oh don't worry," the leader spoke up. "You both are coming with us. Aubina is our prisoner and you escaped with her, Kevin? Shame, shame, shame. You were the best officer, too. Trusting, kind, funny. Why, Kevin? Why? Why break the rules?"

Wait a minute... I recognize that voice.

"How do you know me?" Kevin asked.

The leader pulled the mask off.

Mitchell. How did I not realize it? I looked in Kevin's direction. His face was as white as a sheet, his eyes wide open, and his body, shaking nervously.

"Now, hand her over or we will kill you both," Mitchell paused then said in a low voice. "Your choice."

Two guns pointed at Kevin's head. I started to cry watching the scene. He can't die, I thought and thought. Then two officers came up beside me and grabbed both my arms. Then I thought of something good.
