Little Bird of Hope
Two birds once free they flew
Together they sang a lovely tone
They built a nest a home they knew
Soon a little bird join them too
They sang a song of a time with hope
In this time others mope
The song they thought their little bird
He still remembers every word
Someone came, they caged the birds
No one ever heard there final word
The little one was left alone
He learned to fight
The song now had a different tone
He now sang to make things right
To bring things back to the light
One day this little bird will fly again
This little bird still holds hope
That's when things will just begin
Like his parents he will sing
And that will bring a time of peace
