Age Goes Before Love

Trusting.

     American mum, and I, stood there amazed, and very happy that he was finally gone, and out of are life's. But I could also see in Lillyanna's eyes, she was not. I think she liked the attention she always got from Harry. I found it kind of sickening went I thought about if that was the first time he ever put his hands on her. I was terrified. This 14 year old girl, standing alone right in front of my eyes, could be scarred for life. Never wanting a man again, which I thought wasn't a bad thing. She should stay single a while. I wonder if she was going to cry, or thank me, or both. But what came out of her mouth next surprised me more than ever.

       "WHY ON EARTH DID YOU DO THAT?!?!" She screamed at the top of her lungs at me. I stood there completely shocked how much nerve she to actually get mad, and yell at me for doing her a favor. I could already see the freaking bruise forming on her face and she's going to stand here in front of me and yell at me for kicking him out of her life, literally. "HOW DARE YOU! I JUST SAVE YOU, I CAN SEE ALREADY A BRUISE ON YOU, FROM HIM!" She lifted her hand to the exact place where he smacked her, the exact place I was talking about. "WELL, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU HADN'T CAME HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!" She yelled back at me I was getting very angry and tried of being accused of everything, like I had with my real sisters. "AND WHAT EXACLY IS THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN, EXACLY?" I was yelling right back at her I was not letting her get away with anything, I have had enough. "IT MEANS THAT ME AND HARRY HAD A VERY GOOD RELATIONSHIP BEFORE YOU CAME ALONG AND RUINED EVERYTHING, BECAUSE HARRY WAS STARTING TO THINK I HAD A THING FOR YOU, BUT LIAM AT THIS VERY MOMENT I COULDN'T POSSIBLY HATE YOU MORE!"

    "ENOUGH!" American mum stepped in and ended all the yelling, I was done anyways. I had nothing more to say to Lillyanna. I was so confused that she said all of that to me, and I really took it to heart, for some reason.

   "Okay, family meeting." She said motioning to the living room. "Mom please, we don't do that anymore." She turned around and gave a very dark, and scary, death glare. "I SAID, NOW!" That was the first time I ever heard mum yell at Lillyanna. I was a bit annoyed about the "family meeting" but, I was not taking any chances with her yelling at me. I obeyed and followed her to the living room and a few feet behind me Lillyanna followed, as well.

       Me and Lillyanna sat down and waited for mum's instructions. "Okay, I think we need to have a little chat about are "family", I think that the reason that you guys all the time is because, of the fact you guys don't know each other as well as you should." I sat there trying to think of what she could have in mind, and frankly it scared me, a lot. She left the for about a minute and came back with a pad of paper and three pencils. Now I knew exactly what she was doing. She ripped three pages of paper out of the pad and handed me one and the same with Lillyanna. She gave us both pencils and said, "You guys, will sit here and ask each questions and bond, until I get home from grocery shopping, which will be about two hours. Don't even think that you guys will get out of this because when I get home I will quiz you on each other. So, I will only say this once, DO AS YOUR TOLD, and there will be no punishment to either of you, understood?" We were both, I think shocked that after all of that yelling she would actually leave us alone together. I honestly didn't want to get in trouble with mum, I was hoping Lillyanna felt the same way, but I had a lot of doubt in my mind she didn't.

     After mum left me and Lillyanna just sat there and didn't know what to say to each other. I wanted to get this over with and put behind us, so I thought I would start us off, "Do you want a drink before we start?" I asked standing up she looked at me and said, "Yeah, can you get me a beer?" I laughed in my head but looked at her stern and continued to go and get some thing to drink. I had two waters in my hand and handed one to her she looked at me and said, "Where's my beer?" I didn't answer her stupid question but simply just started with our little "assignment." "So, Lillyanna would you like to start bonding?" I added a little chuckle just because of the word "bond."

  She rolled her eyes and didn't say anything back. "Look, Lillyanna I don't want to do this anymore than you do so can we just get this done?"

 "You know, your right let's just get this shit over with."

  "That was uncalled for, but like you said let's just get this over with." We both started writing down questions, that we would in a few minutes we would ask and have answers for. She stopped writing and I assumed she was finished and after a few seconds I asked her, "Are you ready?"

   "I guess. Ummm.....You go first."

  "Okay, let me see. Ummmm, what's you're favourite animal?"

  "I'm going to have to say, turtles."

   "Really? That's mine too! I have two at home!"

   "What are there names???"

   "Well, there's Boris and then there's Archimedes." I smiled at the thought of my pet turtles, and then frowned at the thought that of if there okay. I'm sure mum-MUM I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT HER! I felt ashamed that I haven't called mum in the past three days. Everyday is going by so fast I lose track of days. I needed to call mum but, what would I tell Lillyanna? She'll understand, and plus mum would be going to sleep soon if I was going to call her I needed to do it now. "Uhh, Lillyanna I have to do something can we finish this in like 20 minutes?"

   She seemed a little confused but then just smiled and said, "That's fine, I hope everything is okay....?" She said but changed it into more of a question. "Yeah, I just remembered I have to call someone." I said getting off the coach and walking toward the stairs when I made it to the first stair I seen from the corner of my eye she stood up really fast and yelled "Liam?!?!" I looked over the railing and responded with "Yes???" I seen a smile appear her face and she said, "You can call me Tini Tiny, if you want. That's what all my friends call me..." I smiled at how she basically called me her friend it felt good that she was starting to trust me. "We'll see." With that I walk all the way upstairs and finally called my mum.
