Little Did They Know (Niall AU)

Chapter 6

*Niall's P.O.V.*

Ella has gone through a lot of changes since high school. Puberty did her some amazing things, she is extremely attractive. College made her hot! She was always pretty, like at least I always thought she was pretty. She just got really hot! I change into the clothes she gave me, then walk out to see her dancing around the house to music going on in the living room. So, why not, I jump out and join in!

*Ella's P.O.V.*

While waiting for Niall to change I turn on my music. Niall has always been extremely attractive, but as he matured he has gotten even more attractive. Niall has really grown into his features and matured quite a lot. I have always had a humongous crush on him, it just seems through the years it has gotten worse, like a lot worse. I honestly think I am not going to be able to handle myself at all around him, between my thighs has been getting quite hot. I need to tell Maci or I think I am liable to explode all over my walls. As I just start to dance, Niall emerges from the room changed into the clothes I had given him he joins me in dancing around the living room. Not two minutes later and my doorbell rings, Niall and I stop dancing and I go to tend to the door, and just as I have expected I open the door to Maci and Harry.

 I immediately pull Maci into a long hug, as soon as she and I pull away from each other, I am swept up in a massive hug from Harry unexpectedly. "Ella, it's been years since I've last seen you!" Exclaims Harry as he pulls away from our hug. Niall chuckles softly and hugs Harry. "Hey Mate." Niall hugs Harry harder. "I think the only reason we were mean to Elizabeth was that no one else really was until we started." Niall tells Harry. "Yeah, we were absolutely horrendous to her back in high school." Harry says looking Maci in the eyes. "Do you have a game system of any sorts?" Niall asks randomly. "Random much? But, yes I have a PlayStation Four" I answer Niall. Nial and Harry immediately run off to the tv and begin to play Fifa. As they start a match Maci and I  begin to cook dinner with the groceries she and Harry brought with them.

"So, you and Niall?" Maci winks at me. "Uhmm no, Niall and Harry were the absolute worst to me in high school." I retort back. "Yeah, but you've seen that people change. You sort of have concrete evidence." She replies smiling at me. "Yeah, I don't know.." I begin to ho some of the vegetables we have set for dinner. " Do you and Harry have any plans made for this Wednesday?" I ask, kind of hoping her and I can get some girl time, just us. "Not that I know of at the moment, why?" Maci asks curiously. "Well, I was actually hoping to spend some time with you. We could go Christmas shopping together, get our nails done, and then maybe go to dinner?" I tell Maci smiling. "That sounds great actually, just some us time." Maci replies smiling widely. "Then it's set, Wednesday it is." I say. "Wednesday!" Maci says while turning on the stove.

Maci and I cook and talk a bit more, while Niall and Harry still play Fifa. Harry at the moment is whining due to the fact that Niall is beating him quite bad I might add. "Tell me, woman do you like Niall?" Maci tries to pry out of me. "Yes, Ugh I mean no. I don't know..." I confess confused with my feelings looking down. "I think you do, and I think he likes you back. That's exactly why he asked you on a date. According to Harry, Niall hasn't dated any woman since their first year of college together. This is your time to shine!" She tells me smiling so wide I think her face is going to fall off. "I don't know he could do so much better than just plain old me." I say looking at the floor. "Oh boy do you have it bad for him, and shut up you are gorgeous!" She exclaims as she slugs me in the arm. 

Niall and Harry walk into the kitchen and Maci and I go back to cooking quietly. Harry comes up behind Maci and wraps his arms around her waist. I frown to myself, they are so cute. I wish I had something like they do. I think Niall senses my sudden shift in mood, and he walks up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my cheek. I am so confused, my mind is playing tricks on me, I can't like him, but I do. I shouldn't, but it just feels so right when he lays his head down on my shoulder. The boys leave soon and go to set the table with the plates and silverware I left on my counter for us all. Maci and I quickly finish preparing dinner for us all, and she and I place all the food on the table. The boys are the first to dig in. Dang, I didn't realize how hungry I was, I forgot to eat lunch today. 

*Time Skip*

All four of us finish dinner, we had a great time chatting together. After dinner we all four decide to play Fifa together, I end up beating everyone else pretty dang bad. It's been a few minutes since they have all left my apartment. I already miss Maci, Harry has changed so much, and I am completely in support of his and Maci's relationship. All throughout dinner Niall was trying his hardest to impress me. Niall has also shown me just how much he truly has changed for the better. I now one hundred percent agree that he is a completely different person than who he was in high school. But, there is something deep in my gut telling me he's the same old jerk he used to be. I am going to try my damndest to give him a second chance with me. Tomorrow is the big day, our date, I am so glad I have all day to prepare for it. Niall has informed me that he will text me when he will be on his way to pick me up. For now, I will try and get some beauty rest. I have a long day ahead of me.
