Learning to do what?!

VALLERIE'S P.O.V.

We weaved our way through the crowded gym. It was hot and smelled of cologne and perfume. Christian was leading me to the dance floor the only problem was everyone was grinding, I don't know how to grind! "Let's dance." He said over the music. I stood there staring at him and pleading that the song would end right now. "Do you know how to grind?" He asked. I shook my head and waited for him to laugh at me. "I'll teach you then." Was all he said before turning me around and grabbing my hips. "Relax." He whispered into my ear. I did as told and let him guide me through it.

I didn't know if I was doing it right but Christian didn't seem to mind.I was enjoying my dancing when someone shouted "Grinding train!" The next thing I know some guy is grinding on me, while a girl was grinding on him. It was a long line of grinders. I was stuck, I couldn't move. When the song finally came to an end I was let free. I made my way to the drinks just as another song came on. I turned to see Nicole grinding on some dude, trying to show off to Christian. I didn't even know it was possible, but they went low to the ground and came back up, while grinding. I was stunned.

I couldn't tell if Christian was paying attention to her or not, and that upset me. Talk Dirty To Me came on and Nicole started grinding on Christian, who seemed to be enjoying himself. "Poor Christian." A girl said behind me. "He had to dance with you, it looked like you were trying so hard to." She tilted my head to watch Nicole and Christian. "Now that there is grinding." She stated before disappearing into the crowd. I was hurrying and wanted to leave, but then Ashton had a hold of me. "Hey Vall." He yelled over the song, "wanna dance?" He added. I didn't feel like it but I nodded my head anyway.

He pulled me to the floor and stood behind me. I shook my head. "I can't do it." I said. "Hey listen don't think just do." He said while starting to move my hips.I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths before letting go. I must have been doing something right, because a lot of people started watching. We were moving to the beat in sink. (If that how u spell it?) When the song finally ended I was thirsty and Ashton was as well. I scanned the crowd looking for Christian, but couldn't find him.

I turned around just in time to see a fist connect with Ashton's face. "Don't touch my girl!" Christian shouted before tackling him. "Stop it! Christian, stop it, your hurting him!" I was shouting. I went to grab his arm but I was then hit hat and thrown backward. I held my cheek as everyone watched what happened next. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hit you Vall." I looked up at Christian as he came towards me. I was scared, I have never been hit by him before. I started backing up, this caused Christian to stop in his tracks. "Vall...please don't be scared of me I didn't mean to. I swear!" He said as he started towards me again. I jumped up and ran. I know I shouldn't have done that, but I was panicking.

I ran home, up into my room, and cried on my bed. Once I was done I laid there under the covers waiting for Christian to come back. I was starting to doze off, when I heard the door open. I peeked open an eye as he stuck his head into my room. "Vall? Please forgive me." He whispered as he approached my bed. I sat up as he sat down next to me. I leaned into his side and welcomed his warmth. He pulled me into him as he whispered, "Thank you." He stood up with me in his arms,as he pulled me closer. I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes as he made his way to his room.

I pouted once he sat me down on his bed. "Unlike you, I don't have sleep wear on, or do you want to keep it that way." He said while removing his shirt. My face grew hot and I New I was red. I looked away and snuggled into his covers. "Goodnight baby." He said into my ear before he started humming. "Goodnight." I replied as he pulled me closer to him. I was finally warm and able to sleep.
