CHRISTIAN'S POV

I saw her flinch when I growled,great now I'm scaring her. "I didn't mean to scare you." I said. She jumped at my voice. "Who the hell are you?" A guy behind her asked. "I'm Christian alpha of the Blood Moon Pack." He looked stunned and scared.

"Get your hands off of her!"I growled as he grabbed her.she jumped again. As I went to grabbed her someone said"what the hell why aren't you working?" I wanted to rip his throat out."I was um..... helping him find his room." She mumbled. "Yeah she was ." I said grabbing her arm.

"Thanks for not ratting me out." She whispered,I almost didn't hear it. She flinched as someone grabbed her from behind. "I can show him to his room." Some girl stated before pushing her back towards the kitchen. "So,you wanna do somethin fun?" She asked seductively,but failed.

VALERIE'S POV

I was going to thank him again but then Sylvia got between us smashing me into the wall. Not the handsome one but the real one. I was called by mind link."get your arss in here now." Shane demanded. I was in enough trouble as it is, so I ran down to the kitchen. I was shoved back into the closet.

FLASHBACK.................

"Mommy where are we going?" I asked rubbing sleep from my eyes. "Somewhere safe." She said. It They saw us,but she still tried to run. It was to late they had hear and killed her. Seeing me they locked me into a basement with her ,before leaving.

I was in the dark for weeks. "Hey someone's in here." An unfamiliar voice yelled. "Get it out then." Another voice said. That's how they found me. In the dark next to my dead mother. I was happy to see the light.

FLASHBACK ENDS..............

Never liked the dark since. I started hyperventilating,and soon passed out. My mom's necklace still in my hand. All I saw was his face and those gorgeous green eyes. I wish he was here to hold me. To calm me down and protect me.
