Chapter 2

Jasper POV
As we dash into the forest we all started to branch off and go for our favorite animal. A deer is caught in my sight and I get low to the ground and slowly shift to it.
Just as I'm about to pounce a roar is heard just a mile away I stand and dash back to the family. What's going on I say. We don't know we heard something cry out just over the hill and came back to check on everyone Esme said. We look at each other and bolt to the area we heard the cry come from, when we get there it was crazy a beautiful tiger was fighting a panther both were badly hurt but keep going at each other. I quickly without think pull the animals apart and stand in front of the tiger in a defense crouch. The panther hiss at me but I stay my place as my family just looks at me like I've gonna crazy. I dont know why but I feel connected with it and I won't let further harm come to it. I feel the tiger come beside me, it let out a low growl the panther hissed one more time then bolted into the tree line. I look over to the tiger and see that its not normal one. It has hazel eyes with flicks of red in them. The animal let's out a soft purr the falls to the ground, I quickly kneel down beside it and sees that it has a large gash on it side plus a few more cuts too. I went to pick it up then its body started to glow a light red and it shifts into a beautiful girl she has shoulder length black hair with smooth caramel skin. I quickly pick her up and run back to the house with my family in toe
