Chapter 6

Amanda's POV

"So how has your life been. Since the you know whole Ashley thing?" I asked popping a peice of lettuce in my mouth. I was doing something I'd never thought I'd do. I went on a date with Joshua. Unbelievable I know.

"It's kinda weird. Not having a Luna. I'm still getting used to the feeling though" he stated. I nodded still eating my food. I paid good money for this.

"So how are you with the whole business thing?" He asked looking me in the eye. I shrugged looking up to match his gaze.

"It's okay I guess. I have a hard working staff and people who care about me." I said going back to eating my food.

"Look I'm sorry. I haven't exactly being the best to you and I want to change that" There goes sorry.

"What you did is done. There's nothing you could do. You made me who I am today. And I thank you for that" his eyes widened as if he had just remembered something.

"You, you were the one who said that. In my dream, you were the one who said that" again I only nodded still chewing.

"Why didn't you tell me" I glanced at him and swallowed what was in my mouth. Glancing at the clock I sighed.

"I need to go. I have a board meeting tomorrow. Tell them to send the bill" I said packing up my stuff. I suddenly felt someone's hand touch mine. Sparks erupted once our skin touched. I thought the bond was broken.

"Please let me drive you home" I know I'm not going to look what is going to happen.

"Fine"

I groaned getting out of bed. My mind was blank on what happened last night. Hold up, I looked around the room and sighed in relief. There's no one in my bed.

"Your up" I really jumped out of my skin upon hearing Joshua's voice.

"What are you doing here?" I asked taking a step back.

"Don't you remember? I dropped you home and asked if I could stay. You said yes so I did. Don't worry it was on the couch" I nodded running my hands through my hair. Suddenly everything came crashing down.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"It's just eight o'clock" I gasped rushing to the bathroom. I'm late soo late. Taking a quick shower I got dressed in a grey suit and quickly put my hair in a ponytail.

"You okay" I didn't even reply I just rushed downstairs grabbing my bag and folder in the process. Taking up an energy bar I rushed out the door. I don't think I'm going to hear the end of this.

"It's settled then we'll start next week Thursday" I nodded internally groaning. Another meeting do these people have nothing better to do. Taking up my things quickly I bid goodbye to everyone then rushed out.

"Um Amanda may I speak to you for a moment" I nodded at Mr Powers.

"I was thinking, why don't we join the two companies. I mean it would be easier my as CEO and you as my assistant" I couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm sorry to say But it would be the other way around as I am of an higher rank" he shook his head.

"Doesn't matter. Would you look into the idea" I thought about it for a moment then answered.

"My grandfather refused to give up of share this company with anyone. I'd like to keep it that way" he shrugged.

"Suit yourself. I just thought it would be a good opportunity to help you out with the business"

"I'm just fine thank you very much" I didn't even let him really I just walked out.

"Why are you still here?" I asked Joshua seeing he still hasn't left.

"I don't know. Oh your brother visited along with two other girls. Nicholas said he was on his way" I nodded putting down my bag.

"How was your day?" He asked trying to start a conversation.

"It was fine" I said taking of my jacket. I felt his eyes take in my body hungrily.  Rolling my eyes I went over to the kitchen where I knew the others where.

I was shocked to see Clover and Storm sitting there. They didn't seem to mind as they were having a conversation with my brother and bestie. Cameron was there with Cassandra who had a slight bump on her stomach. I knew it!

"Oh Amanda you back" Marcus greeted from, his seat at the mini bar. I nodded walking over to the fridge and taking out a soda. I'm so hungry.

"Would you like to tell me why you intrude my home?"

"We received another warning this time form someone else. It was directed at you" I rasied an eyebrow taking the envelope in Marcus' hand.

I know it's you. You know who I am if not it's me the son of your kill. Meet me at pack borders midnight or the boy get it.

Pathetic. Really. He's obviously going to try and kill me right then and there. I rolled my eyes. Crushing up the paper and throwing it in the bin.

"Where is Haden? " I still prefer Conner. Only because I came up with it.

"He's with Chris. There going out for ice cream" I nodded then turned to Clover and Storm.

"Why are you two here?" I asked finishing my soda.

"We heard what happened. I knew this would happen just like what happened with Ariel. But Tyler won't stop your his mate he has lycan blood in him. They don't believe in rejection" Storm said calmly.

"Well I do" I stated stubbornly.

"They don't. He will find you and when he does. He will do what ever it take to get you back"

"Then let him find me. It's not my fault he kissed that-" I was cut off by Joshua.

"I'm still confused on what is going on here " I rolled my eye.

"This doesn't concern you. I'll tell you later" he just walked away.

"Now, could we please talk about the whole mystery guy"

Hello there!

New chapter! How long has it been a week. Feels like a year. It's late and I'm going to sleep soon. I hope you liked this chaper if you did please let me know in the comments, vote and follow.
