The children sang giddily; watching the said character of their nursery rhyme from afar.
Who is this Albert, you ask? Well, he is just one of the most well-known icons in the whole town, of course!
This interesting persona was a gray short-haired feline that stood 3ft on his hind legs. And no; I don't mean if you stood him up. I mean he does stand 3ft in the air—all the time—right on his back legs!
And to top it off, he had a lovely silky black top hat right upon his head.
"Hello, my dear, humans," Albert greeted happily, walking around the local park.
Expecting a polite greeting in return, the cat was very surprised when the said humans gushed in excitement; 'awwing' in how cute the nicely dressed feline was.
"Oh-my-gosh—he's so cute!"
"He totally is!"
"Oh! And his little top hat!"
"The meowing! He is totally adorable,"
"Totally,"
After that, they walked past them and returned to their walking in the park.
Albert sighed, "Typical humans."
But was he going to let a pair of his fangirls get in his way? No! Albert was going to stay sharp and dapper and enjoy this fine day to the fullest.
"Albert was a fancy cat!
Albert had a fancy hat!
Albert has a fancy name!
Albert is a cat with no mane!"
