Unloved Fool

Why is it that the one who loves the most,
Ends up being the foolish of them all?
As their hearts lay on the cold ground,
And they speak the most inaudible words,
Unable to reach the ones that they desire most,
And they try their hardest to get the words out so that their voices may be heard
But no matter the trials made, they will always be voiceless
And perhaps they are a fool for loving so deeply and trying so hard
For giving their hearts out and never getting it in return
For trusting so easily
Because once something perishes it can never be brought again
Did they know that or did they just turned a blind eye?
Thinking that maybe if they persist it will come back to them
That the heart they lent out like an un replaceable book,
Will soon come back to them intact
But every book will soon tear away
Like the heart that returned and lays on the ground
For it got so badly damaged that it can no longer function
And the unloved fool will simply be but a fool
As that fool can no longer love again for their heart no longer functions once again
