Chapter Three~Time To Leave

"Katee get up its time to go!" I rolled over and looked at the clock and groaned. "Baby its 5:00 am go back to bed." I rolled over and pulled the covers over my head. Yarn cuddled up next to me and nudged my arm, "but babe, we have to finish packing. And by that I mean you need to start packing." I rolled over and poked my head out from under the covers and looked at her still half asleep. So it was more like I was seeing two of her. "Yarn Yarnn our plane doesn't leave till 8:00, its only 5:00. Can I sleep for one more hour?" I felt her arms unwrap from my body, she quietly got up and walked into the bathroom to start getting ready.  She walked back into her room and stared at me. "Katee get up or you're not going with me." I quickly jumped up and looked at her frowning. I grabbed my suitcase and quickly started to pack, "yeah you go on tour without me, for a whole year, with Chahci? Umm no. I would miss you too much and I want to meet Chachi." She wrapped her arms around me and kissed my cheek. "I'm gonna go make breakfast, you keep packing babe." I smiled and continued to pack. I had a uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. What if I mess up and make her look stupid? Maybe I shouldn't go with her. She would be with Chachi. She would be fine without me.  I stopped packing and sat down on the bed. Maybe I really shouldn't go. I mean compared to everyone else we are touring with, I am nothing. I started practicing my tutting. I knew I would need to in order to impress Chachi and the rest of the crew. Yarn came back upstairs with chocolate chip pancakes. She set the plates down and watched me. "Hmm you aren't straitening your arms enough to make the proper box shape." She moved my arms and placed them correctly. "There you go babe it looks perfect." She kissed  my forehead and handed me my plate of pancakes. "Eat up Koala Ninja, its your favorite." I smiled and looked down at the yummy food that was in front of me. I set it on the bed I continued to pack. Yarn frowned and looked down trying to hide her face. I sat down next to her and wrapped myself around her. "I'm sorry Yarn Yarnn I am just really nervous about this whole tour thing. Its a whole new experience and I haven't been dancing that long and I am really scared." She looked up at me and hugged me tight, "Don't be sacred Katee. Its not like you are going to be a lone. I am going to be with you the whole time I promise." I smiled and gave her a huge kiss. I finished packing and eating and turned around to look at the clock. "Wow its 6:30 already? We better get going Yarn Yarnn. We have to say bye to everyone and get to the airport." She jumped up and ran down stairs. I stood in her room for a few seconds not knowing whether to unpack or grab my suitcase and leave. Yarn came back upstairs and noticed the look on my face. She grabbed my hand and kissed me, "don't worry babe, I'm scared too. But we have each other, I know we can do this." We walked downstairs said good bye to everyone got in the car and headed to the airport. On the way to the airport I got a call from my mom. My mom and sisters moved to Arizona two years ago when my mom got remarried. And since then I have been living with Yarn and her family.  "Hey mommy, how are things in Arizona?" I said with a happy tone. "They are wonderful, I just wanted to call you and tell you we love you and we are all very proud of you bear. Call us when you two land okay hunny?" I held back the tears. My mom hasn't called me bear since I was little. My voice cracked a bit, "thank you mommy, and I will call you guys when I land Is breá liom tú, labhairt leat go luath." That was Irish. My mom and I always said I love you in Irish since I was little. I hung up the phone just as we got to the airport. Yarn's mom hugged us and handed us our plane tickets. And before I knew it we were on the plane to meet I. aM. mE. Yup were on our way to Houston, Texas and on our way to starting our world tour.
