Chapter Ten~Ian came back

We arrived in New York around 8:00. It was too late to try to get any practice time in so we just went straight to our rooms. Yarn opened the door and we walked in to a hotel room much like the one we stayed in when we were in Houston. It had a living room and a bedroom and a kitchen and a dance space. I walked into the bedroom dropped my bags and curled up on the bed. I had been very tired and the stitches that were still in the back of my head were bothering me. The must have been healing because they were itchy. Yarn walked into the room a few minutes later, "babe don't touch your stitches." I rolled over and looked at her very helplessly. "But baby they itch and burn and it's bugging me. I don't like them." She smiled and rubbed my head around the spot were the stitches were located. It felt really nice. "They will get taken out tomorrow then you won't be bothered by them." I smiled and snuggled into the fluffy pillows on the bed. I rolled over and started to fall asleep. I felt Yarn curl up beside me, her body wrapped around mind. She pulled my hair behind my ear and kissed me on the cheek. "Sleep tight Katee, I love you very much." I rolled over and snuggled into her, "I love you too Yarn Yarnn." Our alarm went off at 6:30. I was still getting dressed when Yarn had come in with breakfast. I was always kinda slow when it came to getting dressed. Deciding on a shirt was the hardest part. Yarn came over and wrapped her arms around my waist and kissed my shoulder, "can't find a shirt to wear Katee?" I smiled and turned around. "Nope I don't know which one to wear." She looked at the shirts I had laid out and giggled. I looked away blushing because I knew she was making fun of me. Her arms still wrapped around my shirtless body I pulled her into a long passionate kiss. She pulled away her eyes big in a daze. "Put on a shirt silly we have to go get your stitches taken out." I smiled grabbed a shirt and put on my shoes. "Come on Yarn Yarnn let's go!" About 15 minutes later we were at the doctors office. They had called my name and I stood up to go back. Yarn grabbed my hand and had a worried look, "do you want me to go with you baby?" She knows I have a fear of doctors but I tried to tough it out. "No babe I think I will be okay." She smiled and kissed me "that's my brave girl." I walked back and sat on the little table they had. A few minutes later the doctor walked in. "Hello Katee." He said with a happy tone. "Are you ready?" I looked at what he was grabbing, it was a little hook tool and scissors. "Umm excuse me, what is the little hook thing for?" He smiled and chuckled a bit, "well since the stitches are in your head I have to pull them up so I can cut them." My eyes got big and I looked down, "umm is it going to hurt?" The doctor tried to tell me I was going to be fine but I knew it would. "Hmm hold on Katee I have an idea." The doctor left the room and returned a few seconds later with Yarn following behind him. "Now Katee I want you to hug Yarn very tightly and try to keep your mind off the stitches." Yarn looked at me, smiled and wrapped herself around me. "Don't worry baby it's going to be over before you know it." The doctor picked up the hook tool and moved my hair out of the way. "Okay Katee take a deep breath." I took a very deep breath and held to Yarn very tightly. I felt the hook tool go under the stitches and the doctor pulled up and cut the stitch. I clenched to Yarn in pain and felt tears run down my face. "Shh baby it's okay only two more and then you will be done." The last one got stuck. I felt the doctor try to pull but it didn't move. "Katee I am very sorry for this and yes it's okay to scream and cry." I buried my face in Yarn's shoulder and she held me very tight. "One, two, three." The doctor jerked the stitch and I felt the worst stinging pain in my head. I let out a high pitched yelp and grabbed Yarn's shirt. She grabbed me tighter, "shh baby please don't cry, it's okay you're all done now." She calmed me down and then we left. We walked over to the dance studio and got a terrible surprise when we walked in, Jammie was gone and Ian was back.
