I rolled my eyes at her when she smiled at me and said thank you for helping her move her stuff in. I grumbled "yeah whatever" and I wanted to punch myself for being rude. She raised an eyebrow at me "Tord, your face is pink" she said "shit, I'm blushing" I felt my face heat up.

"It's nothing! It's just so.... fucking hot!" I yelled. She giggled and tugged on my cheek "your face is almost red as a your hoodie" she said. Why is she so cute!?!? I covered my face with the box I was holding. She smiled and went to get another box for her room, she only had three boxes of stuff. I guess she was homeless?

She placed her box on the bed and thanked me for helping her move in and 'being so kind'. Kind... hm. Edd came by the room and smiled "Hey, looking good, (y/n)" she smiled "thanks". Edd walked inside with his hands in his pockets. "Tord, I'm actually surprised that you're helping" he smiled. I scoffed and walked out.

Your POV
I watched Tord leave the room, the blush on his face was as red as his hoodie. "So, you're new in town?" Edd asked I nodded "yeah". "So, what happened? You just moved out?" He asked "well.... no" I said "I got kicked out". "Kicked out?" He asked with his eyes widen. "It happened too quick, it was... scary" I explained "my father just came home, drunk, and he immediately just started beating me and my mother and it got my mother and about to be born brother. They both died in the hospital". I glanced down with sadness. Edd looked at me with sadness and he patted my shoulder. "Don't worry that won't happen here" he said I looked at him and smiled. "Thanks" I said, he nodded "alright, let's get you set up" he said with a smile and he reached into the boxes and helped me set up my inventory.
