Daniel explains to me that everyone in the room came to this place not remembering whom they once were. Their memories were completely gone. Lucas was the first of the lost known to walk this place. He had no clue where he was but stayed in the same spot he found himself in; the park. He stayed there until he found Daniel. Lucas soon realized more will probably come so they teamed up together to wait for others.

Soon enough they found Omar and Zia, they had thought that would be it given they all have been in this place for months now. Slowly gaining bits and pieces of memories. My arrival was un expected, a burden none the less. Zia made sure of herself to inform me that they thought they were very close to finding out the mystery of everything but my presence threw everything off.

I was unsure of how to feel about this, it hurt knowing I caused trouble for this group but I was glad I had found them. I imagined what it would have been like to be alone without anyone and I found it dreadful. My thoughts then wondered to how Lucas must have felt being alone, that made my heart ache.

The group meeting soon breaks and everyone goes their separate ways, leaving Lucas and I to stay. He does not make eye contact with me, I decide this is a chance to get some kind of comfort. I feel drawn to Lucas greatly, for what reason, I'm not sure.

I stand up and stroll over to him, positioning myself right in front of him. Finally getting his attention I place myself onto the ground and hug his legs. An action I do unwilling yet it feels right. I rest my head on his knee, then he unexpectedly places his palm on my head and starts playing with my hair. This action is a sign to me as free rain.

I get up and place myself on his lap and I rest my head on his shoulder. He traces his fingers on my back and I feel as if light is emitting from him into me, something that draws me greatly. I feel at ease.

"Lucas" I hum, I look up to him and see his eyes closed, he grunts in response, I know he is awake, just on the verge of rest. I smile on the inside a little, loving the feeling of a weight being lifted. Like a cloud has left, and all is well.

"I want -"

I was cut off by the sound of the front door slamming shut, next came a slightly irritated voice.

"What exactly are you doing Lucas?" I tried to turn around to the sound but Lucas kept me in that place. Once I heard Daniels voice, that trance I was in seamlessly faded away. I started to feel very shy in the position I was in. I started to try and wiggle around and gave Lucas a pleading look, he gave in and let go.

"Come with me, let me show you around, I'll talk to you later Lucas" Daniel gave him a seemingly warning look, I left the apartment. It was as if the outside was a whole other world. The fast pace, the noise, nothing stopped. My mind was going 1000 miles a minute. It wasn't until Daniel blocked my view that I remembered to take a breath.

"So, I know we've left you in the dark, I'm going to try and explain as much as I can. Even though we glossed over it earlier, there are things you still don't know." Daniel took her hand in his, knowing if he let her go she would possibly aimlessly walk into the street.

"Lucas was the first of us to arrive, then it was I, Zia, then Omar, all roughly 4 months apart, all in the park like where we found you. We thought we were it. But then I found you in that ally 8 months late-" I stopped walking stopped walking, "what are months?" I looked to him in confusion, he was just as lost as I in that moment then he realized and explained.

"Look, the point of it is, we all had things mapped out, we are all still trying to figure out who we once were, you coming was kind of a curve ball, we thought we were the only ones but because you didn't come at that four month mark means that there is someone we missed" he finished and looked me in the eyes to make sure I understood.

"Who came before Lucas?" Daniel took a deep breath, he lead us over to a bench and we sat down, he peered over his shoulder to make sure no one was listening.

"He said there was someone before him, the first, named Peter, although Lucas said he got into a foul accident before I had arrived."  I looked at him in confusion and awe.

"Oh how dreadful, what happened?" Daniel looked deeply into my eyes and started to speak more crisp. " That's the thing, Lucas won't tell us. I believe he his keeping something from the rest of us purposefully, that's why I have been leaving, I am trying to figure out things for myself, like what happened to Peter, if he was even real or the missing 6th person, or-"

He realized he was saying to many things at once and decided to slow down. "Look, just take my words into consideration and be weary of Lucas, I don't know where his intentions lay" I looked at him with consideration. He must have thought all this out thoroughly.

"But, he makes me feel good" I say in a breathe. I stop looking at the sky to meet Daniel's confused pair of eyes. Without him having to ask I explain further. "When I'm with him, it's like in safe and I feel like all the troubles pass away, like if we are alone in a room, I can't help but draw near, it's as if he gives me energy." I admit, looking back to Daniels face, I could tell he was thinking hard.

"How strange." He muttered under his breath. We sat there for awhile. I changed the subject to simple things, I asked him questions about the norms of this world. I felt comfortable with Daniel the most, he is like a guide, someone quite reliable. He made it feel okay that there were things that I still had yet to understand.

We decided to head back to the apartment, we entered with no one else present. It seemed that Omar and Zia had headed out, Lucas was in one of the bedrooms, Daniel started to prepare a meal.

Started by sitting my myself on the couch but got bored with that so I decided to walk to Lucas's room. I had been itching to be near him since this morning. I longed to have the feeling I had received when I'm in his arms, or at least close by.

Just as I was about to knock on the door to his room, it has opened, a tall framed man stood in front of me, and the feeling of light came rushing back.
