Fireworks

A speck of color rise up the sky
Like a tiny feeling in your gut
Like a tiny idea in your mind
Like a tiny thing you've done

The tiny dot finally disappears
And instead replaced by colors bursting
Like the tiny feeling that matures,
That gives the feeling of euphoria

Like the tiny idea that becomes an innovation
And was popularized by people
Like the tiny thing done that results to more things
Things that brought extreme feelings in your life

Then the feeling is gone
Then the idea becomes non- existent
Then the accomplishments disappears
Like the burst of colors that slowly fades away

This poem is a comparative poem comparing a feeling, an idea and a decision made that progresses like a fireworks that results extravagantly but has a fateful ending: to be forgotten

This poem is composed by yours truly during the first dawn of the year 2017 when fireworks were seen everywhere
