He liked the burn in his muscles when he pushed himself. He likes the feeling of balancing right in the almost-too-much-and-almost-not-enough area that meant growth.
But no matter how hard he worked, no matter what the members said there would always be a bigger voice than the 6 of them, telling him to work harder, do more, keep going. Be perfect.
So he powers through the wanting-to-quit and the I-should-take-a-break that happens in the almost-too-much-and-almost-not-enough area until he was needed elsewhere.
Jung Hoseok was a workaholic. This isn't news. Jimin is, too, and Yoongi, and everyone has something they work toward so why won't they let him work for this!
