-The Day Before-
Like every other day it seemed the same. The light shined from the windows, the servants cleaned, the master attended his studies, and so-on. The wind was calm and gentle. And the air felt light. The Butler of the Trancy manor stood by and assisted his master to his every need. "My highness, is there something bothering?" Trancy just stood silent looking back to his butler in a more worse mood than usual. But he wasn't full of rage, but instead it was sadness. Eventually pulling his own gaze away with a sigh, and a cold look that was presented on his face, he spoke in a murmur. "I want one thing." Claude licked his lips in desire. "Say it and I shall make it yours." Alois felt the wind from outside suddenly stop. Looking back to his tall butler, Alois knew much that it would be almost impossible. He spoke aloud showing he was sure of the words he was to say. "I want, Ciel Phantomhive." He said clear and sharp as of a crystal. The golden-eyed demon then bowed, with his hand over his heart and closed eyes that looked to be untrusting. "Yes, my highness."
. . .A while after the sun had set, Claude had been ordered to get more tea, for they had run out of. Taking a step out of the carriage he had took, he walked along the chipped brick road that stood aside from the dim candle-lit tea shop, that held the high-class tea his master craved. standing up to the door with his hand on knob he stopped in his tracks. feeling someone's eyes observing him, the butler turned his head too see a gleam coming from an alleyway. Turing himself fully around, he took his time crossing the street. "Who are you?" The Butler glared as he got close enough, feeling comfortable from the amount of distance between himself and the stranger. "That shouldn't matter as of now. Isn't there something you should be fetching?" he stood silent for a little while. "The Queen's guard dog?~" He added mockingly. "I believe it has nothing to do with you." The demon responded with attitude. Confused enough, Claude could sense it was obvious he wasn't a human. "All it would take is a quick contract for the boys soul, if that's what you wish to have." Interested in this deal Claude softened his Stony eyed look, wanting to hear more of this valuable soul, but curious as of why they had knew of all of this. "Would you show yourself?" Nodding in response, the other walked forward from between the two buildings making there self-visible from the moons light. "Why tell me of this? What would you gain?" The demon threw questions at him out of curiosity. "Ahh... Nevermind that! Hah.." Swiping his flawless hair to the side he continued with a grim smile. "Entertainment purposes." He said slowly, which earned the demon a look of confusion, showing mistrust he wore so proudly. He thought back on the words they ever chose so carefully. "Why should I believe you?" Growing silent the others smile still remained though a change of an upbeat voice was replaced with a cold harsh tone. "Very well.. Fine suit yourself." The mysterious man said turning himself around. He paused, letting the sounds of far away fill the absent air. "The one with the amethyst colored eye. Quite beautiful actually.. What a waste." The man shown himself a tilted smile as he took his leave, leaving the demon to his thoughts. Walking away as well, Claude made his way back into the tea shop, and eventually the Trancy Manor.
Arriving back, Claude walked through the dark halls with echoing footsteps. Going to the kitchen he started preparing the tea setup for the next day, that was soon to come. Being a demon he had no need for sleep, which gave him much time to think over words and actions. When it was time for the sun to rise, dark clouds came instead. "Claude~" clinging onto the demon that was currently pouring tea Alois smirked. "Aren't you going to follow your order?" He spat his words demandingly. Setting the cup of tea down Claude bent down to his master's height and traced the bottom of his jaw upward. "Anything for you~" He found it amusing how easily humans could be teased and fooled. He thought lowly of every single one, for basing their actions on their emotions that overwhelmed them. But one was different. Like a gem surrounded by stones, he had yet to meet Ciel Phantomhive once again.
