Dave looked at her throughout the day,thinking about her and what he should say but he knew he couldn't say anything. The bell rang and the hall was filled with students of every variety,rushing past eachother to get out and go home. Dave was the to exit last and the the only one to exit with sadness. He was walking along the road extremely grief-stricken until he saw a blue Prius beside him and out of the window popped a very beautiful face. The face of Amanda....
"Hey!" Said Amanda.
"Hi." Dave couldn't say anything else and his face was turning red.
"Want a ride?"
"Uh... Sure!"
Dave got inside the car and looking at Amanda lost sight of everything else. He could see nothing more nor could he hear anything,he was in nirvana.
"Dave?" Amanda demanded his attention.
"Yeah?" Dave said as he was steadying himself.
"We are here!" Amanda roared.
"O-okay." Dave smiled as he left the car.
As Dave left Amanda went on thinking about Dave. Then Amanda finally came to a conclusion.
"I DO love him!" Amanda squealed from excitement.

Dave went through the door only to see his mother standing there. She looked really angry and Dave knew he was in trouble.

"Who was that?" Charlotte demanded.

"She's just a friend mom." Said Dave trying to justify.

"You know I can read your mind right? You're still not powerful enough Dave. Who is Amanda by the way?"

"I told you she's just a friend!"

"Oh. You love her." Charlotte smiled.

"N-no." Dave tried to lie.

"Yes you do dear."

"So what I still can't tell her,right?

" Yes,you can't honey."

"So what's the point!?" Tears started flowing down his cheeks.

Dave rushed upstairs to his room and locked himself in, he didn't know what to do. He could only think about Amanda and what she would be doing.

"Thats it! Tomorrow i'm gonna tell her no matter what!" Dave screamed in his head hoping his mother would hear it.

Dave got to bed and drifted off to sleep. He had the most amazing dream. He was telling Amanda his feelings and Amanda felt the same way but just when he told her he wasn't human. That he was an IMMORTAL he woke up. He looked at the corner towards a dark figure,it was Charlotte and she looked angry,very angry.

"I did hear you!" She roared.

"I'll still tell her mom,I love her more than anything."

"If you tell her you'll put us all in danger!"

"Bu-but...."

"No!" Charlotte intrupted.

"Okay mom."

"Wait. What?"

"I won't tell her."

"I didn't think it would be so easy."

"Well,you're right." Dave said while smiling.

"Ye-yes I am and i'm proud of you because you understand."

"Okay i'll be off to college. Bye."

"Bye,I love you." Charlotte responded.

As Dave was walking towards school he wasn't sad but happy because his lie worked.

"I'm gonna tell her." Dave thought.

At school Dave saw her again and couldn't believe someone could be so beautiful. Everytime Dave saw her he fell in love with her again and again.
As they were leaving class,Dave thought....."Now or never".
