A Puppy? (chapter 5)

Y/N P.O.V

We all are Ihop and got along fine. We finished and I played, even though everyone insisted they pay. We all walked outside together and and I stopped at my motorcycle. "Well I'll see you guys later im I gonna go ride around in town" I said getting onto my bike.

"Ok, be safe" katelyn says to me. I just rolled my eyes. I started driving when my eyes caught onto a animal shelter. Well.... I guess I can just look. I went inside after parking my bike. The lady working at the counter looked up at me and smiled.

"Hello and welcome to Second Chance Animal Shelter. How may I help you sir?" The lady asked. Wow she is very polite.

"Uh well..." I trailed off. I thought hard. It's gonna be kinda lonely.... why don't I get a dog? I cleared my throat. "Sorry, I was wondering if I could take a look at your dogs?" I asked. She nodded.

"Right this way sir" she said while motioning me to come with her. We walked through some halls before coming at a stop. I saw a door with big letters reading 'DOGS'. The last unlocked the door for me and I went in. Wow.... there is a lot of dogs here. I walked down the isle. I wanted a puppy so I could raise it. A lot of them barked and jumped up growling or things like that. I got to the end and saw an adorable white puppy. They sat there not barking just wagging there tail. I read the file on his kennal. 'Involved in dogfighting'.

I looked at the lady. "So this fellow was in dogfighting?" I asked crouching down to pet him through the kennel.

"Yep he was on site of the fighting ring. Used as a bait dog. However he is very kind and trusting." She said it saddly. I looked at him. Hmmmm

So its a boy..."I'll take him (picture above of what he looks like). She nodded.

"Ok let's go fill out the paper work" she smiled at me and we walked into an office.

I looked at him. Hmmmm. I'm gonna name you alaska. Wait.... I rode my bike here. I sighed as I grabbed my phone and dialed katelyn's number.

Y:Hey can you pick me up?

K:yeah where are you?

Y:At Second Chance Animal Shelter

K: OMI did you get a doggy????

I hear a loud squeel. And someone clear there throat.

K:yeah I'm on my way.
