It was seventh period which was music. I sat in class and watched the clock waiting for the day to be over. When the bell rang I grabbed my things and rushed out the door. I ran down the halls to the front door to meet with my friends Kayla, Max plus my brothers hunter and Nash. When I reached out meeting spot I saw hunter and Nash were gone but Kayla and Max were still there.
"Hey guys have you seen my brothers?" They shook their head and we started walk home. Me and Kayla live a block away from each other so we always walk home together. Max lives about three blocks away from Kayla. We after Kayla and Max went home i continued to my house. I put my earbuds in and Marlin Manson started to play. When i got home I saw my dad and brothers on the couch waiting for me. They all had the same expression sad.
"Come sit down." My dad said I sat next to him and we sat there for a Minuit before he spoke.
"I sold you." He mumbled I sat there for a second try to process what he just said.
"You did what now" I screamed at him. I ran up to my room and saw that most of my things were gone. There was a soft knock in the door. I didn't answer but instead sat there thinking.
"Lex open the door please" my brothers plead. I stood up and unlocked the door. I went to my bed and sat there staring at the door. The door knob turned and my brothers walk in. They both sat on my bed but said nothing. I finally broke the silence.
"Why are you here." I said slightly annoyed.
"We wanted to say sorry dad had to." Hunter explained I looked at him puzzled.
"Why would he need to sell me to a stranger that I have never met."I said getting pissed
"He sold you because he owed a lot of money he could not pay but they made an exchange which was you instead of his life and ours."Nash told me I started to cry.
" GET OUT NOW!" I scream at my brothers They nod and walk out shutting my door. I cried for hours but finally fell asleep.
