A/N: This chapter is 1 year before the gang get back together and when Alfie and Fabian fly to America to find Amber and Nina.

Fabian's POV

This is crazy. What if Nina doesn't want to see me? She told me in that letter to move on but I couldn't. If she has moved on then this could be embarrassing.

"Flight KCLE701 to Cleveland-hopkins International Airport will be boarding at gate 25" one of the airport staff spoke on speaker. I'm so nervous and when I get nervous I stutter. There's a reason they all call me Stutter Rutter you know.

I made my way past gates 20-24 my legs trembling more and more each step. Every move I make I am closer to seeing my one and only love. the lady at the desk checked my passport and boarding pass with a smile signalling that I could go through to the plane.

The plane wasn't as quiet as I thought. All of the seats were full apart from mine. Why did I choose a window seat? I am stuck next to a guy who stinks of dog (no kidding). This was going to be a long smelly ride.

Alife's POV

This is crazy crazy crazy! Flying to New York in search of Amber is going to be tough let alone persuading her to come back to Anubis. I mean, the reason she left was for this fashion school. I certainly hope she hasn't moved on but saying that, Amber quoted "America is the home of all things cute boys" so I need to be ready to get disappointed.

"Flight IATA174 to John F. Kennedy International Airport will be boarding at gate 34" spoke an airport staff member. It was the same one that announced Fabian's flight about 35 minutes ago. We came to the airport in the same taxi straight from Anubis house but went our separate ways after eating lunch in Nando's.

I made my way to gate 34 in a rush because I knew the quicker I got there, the quicker everyone else will be there and the quicker I could see Amber. What am I like? Lovesick. That's what. Willow was just a distraction from Amber but I still loved Willow. No where near as much as I love Ambs though.

The plane was practically empty! My seat was an aisle seat because I hate the idea of being cramped by a window next to complete strangers for 8 1/2 hours. There were two old ladies next to me who thought I was adorable. I am 19 and I am still being called adorable by old ladies! This could be either a good ride or one that leaves my cheeks sore from the old ladies pinching them!

(A/N: I did Alfie's POV similar to Fabian's because I felt it would be better.)

8 hours later

Fabian's POV

Finally we had landed! I couldn't wait to see Nina but first to have a breath of fresh air. That guy seriously needed a shower! I text Nina a week ago saying that I was flying to America to find her but I didn't know if she would show up at the airport waiting for me. I felt a vibration in my pocket. Someone was ringing me. For all hope I thought it was Nina but it turns out it was Amber.

(Bold= Amber, Italics= Fabian)

Hey Fabes, do you know why Alfie isn't answering his phone? I wanted to scream at him for moving on so quickly after I left.

Hello Amber nice to hear your voice too. Alfie is on a plane and how did you find out about Willow?

Patricia told me. Anyway, are they still a couple?

No Ambs. He broke up with her because she found out he was using her as a distraction from thinking about you because the truth is, he still loves you.

OMG!!! Where is he flying to? I need to see him immediately.

He's on his way to New York. John F. Kennedy airport to find you.

OMGGGGG!! That's so sweet! Sorry Fabes got to go get my man!
