Nina's POV

These last few days in America with Fabian have been the best. We video chatted Amber and Alfie the other day. It's good to see them. I still don't feel 100% okay about going back to Anubis house. I mean, what if they gave away my place? Our plane doesn't leave til 8pm and its 10am now so we don't need to be at the airport for a few more hours. We had just finished packing when Fabian saw me staring at the floor which is what I do when I'm nervous or scared.

"Neens I know something's wrong and don't lie to me this time," the amazing Fabian Rutter said. He always knew when something was up. I hesitated before I spoke.

"I'm scared okay? I'm scared that no one would want to see me and I'm scared that they gave away my place so I won't be able to go back. Why did this stupid Chosen One thing have to pick me? There's plenty of other people in the world," I spoke angrily. The room went silent for a minute or two until I burst out crying. I didn't care anymore.

I felt Fabian pull me into a hug as I cried into his chest. I knew how much he loved me and he reassured me that everything was going to be okay. I always felt myself around him and mostly I felt safe. Being the Chosen One did come with risks, yes, but with Sibuna and the best boyfriend around, I know I'm safe.

*At the airport*

Fabian's POV

After Nina's mini meltdown this morning, I haven't let her out of my sight since. Well, apart from when she went to the toilet but at least I know where she's going and that she's going to be safe. We are now sitting on the plane waiting for it to take off in about half an hour's time. Nina of course picked the window seat which was fine by me. She was staring out of the window so I intertwined my fingers with hers and said "there's no need to be nervous or scared. Nobody knows you're returning apart from Amber and Alfie. How about we surprise them?" I spoke calmly.

"That's an amazing idea. How about we make sure we get there early enough so no one but Trudy and obviously Victor are there and I'll hide say in the laundry room?" Nina spoke with a smile. It's the first time she's smiled for a few hours.

The plane started to take off and this was it. I was going back to the place where I first met my beautiful girlfriend Nina Martin...

A/N: Hey guys! I'm really sorry that I'm a week behind I was really busy last week with school and stuff. There will be a part 2 of this chapter which is Amfie preparing to return to Anubis.
