Once upon a time there was a little star who shined proud above in the starry sky. Surround by all her brothers and sisters together with their guardian Moon. The little star could always see her friends but was never able to talk to one. She could only watch but never touch. Never laugh or never be comforted.

As the years went by, she saw fellow stars fall while she remained alone in the inky night sky. But one day as another sister of her fell, she followed her track down towards the land. And there see saw.

Two girls sitting in the tall grass.

It was wet from dew and the wind was giving them a hard time, but neither of them cared. Their where sitting their close to each other, heads tilt up and eyes wide with wonder. While one was pointing wildly at above, the other laughed at her childish behavior.

The little star watched them closely and didn't understand. While see could never talk, touch or laugh with her friends, the two girls where doing all of that. She looked up to her cousin above, right to her niece, left to her sister but no one seems to notice her, even when she shined as bright as possible.

When she looked back down the girls were nowhere to be found and she was left there confused and all, sad that they were gone.

While nights went by, she looked back at that spot every night, but the girls didn't show up again. As she kept hoping to see them one night again, to be warmed up all again by their special bond they shared.

Years later when her time was come, she was falling from the sky like a little raindrop. And while she was tumbling down to her end, she glanced down a final time. What she saw there made her shine bright for a very last time. Two girls were sitting on that spot on the hill. More older than back then but still it felt like nothing has changed. The bound hadn't be broken and was still there, stronger as ever.

While the one girl was pointing at the little star, the other girl pulled her closer and made a wish on her. As the girl made the wish, the star could hear her. She was touched that one day the girl wanted to share her fate. The only difference would be that she wouldn't be alone as she wanted to shine next to each other, together, in the dark starry sky.

And the little one was happy because once upon a time the two will shine next to each other, their friendship brighter then she could have ever shine.
