"Hey! Elisa!" Sara called out to Me. I was twiddling my thumbs across my phone screen. Texting up a storm to my friend, who was sick. "Elisa!" Sara gently shoved me. My head shot up and my hands went towards my chest. I didn't want her to see my messages. "Who are you texting?" Sara asked with a smirk. "I'm texting Kate," I said with a slight stutter. Sara didn't necessarily like how I always have my nose stuck in my phone all the time, watching 'Animes' and reading 'mangoes'. She didn't quite understand why I was into the stuff that nobody really liked, and did all these things nobody really does.
The school hallways began to drown with sound. I shoved my back into the lockers, i was nervous. Sara was lost in the crowd of students, stuck in the never ending black hole of pushy and loud kids. I pushed my bangs to the side and began to text Kate again. I tapped away until the bell rang. The loud rattling sound of the bell echoed faintly through the abyss of noise, but still loud enough to hear for everyone to scatter around. The loud stepping of the stampede of kids made me wince, i stepped around and finally made it to my bright purple locker. I put my code in and yanked the lock, hearing the satisfying click.i opened my locker that was followed by a loud squeak of the door. I shoved my junk and put everything in place. I grasped my books and ran off to first period.
" everyone open your textbooks to page 74," the teacher said with a clear voice. Her accent was crisp, but very German-ish. I didn't like English too much, such simple concepts made hard by common core. I groaned a little and opened my textbook, begging for the day to be over, and it's not even 2nd period.
Lunchtime finally came around, I smiled as I walked to my locker. My locker opened and I grabbed my phone and my lunch bag. I walked somewhat fast through the bland hallways. The popular girl, Vivian, smirked at me. I knew what she was thinking, I'd be drawing on my tiny sketchbook in my pocket. Today I just planned to text my internet friends. I loved them. We all had similar interests and we get along, it would be nice if I could find another one.
I sat down in the cafeteria sitting where I usually sit, at the table with all the musicians. I popped open my phone and began to text my life away. Being British, the chances of me going to see my internet friends were slim. All of them were in the United States. It saddened me, but I always dreamed of meeting Caroline. Caroline was in Ireland. That's close, right?(I might add more to this chapter later, I'm probably really gonna like this story, it's a topic nobody sheds light on. Internet friends. It's also my first story to not include fantasy things, really, hhhh I hope this is good)
