I walk into my room and realize that Collins is following me. He jumps onto my bed and sits with his back against the headboard. The silence is growing and lucky he starts a conversation, "Jennifer, I am confused." Right as he let's out these words his face drops. I decide to go sit by him leaning into his side. His arm wraps around my back and hangs over my shoulder. I look up into his eyes, "What could you possibly be confused about." I ask. "Well, you and me and us and how 98% of the time you act like you would never date me and then now, in this moment you seem like you would date me. I know that it seems like I have dated every girl and that my feelings for you and your feelings for me are impossible to figure out and how they seems like an unfinishable puzzle. I have the pieces. I want to finish this puzzle. I want to know you better than I already do. Jennifer, I know you got your timer and that it is supposed to show you your true love. I think I am in love with you." The room goes silent. I respond, "Why, after 12 years of friendship, would you finally decide to tell me this?" I immediately think of my mysterious love for Sam when Collins responds, "Look I wanted to wait a while to express this to you because I haven't been able to figure you out. Jennifer, you are hard to get, in a good way. Your ex-boyfriends probably have-" I interrupt, "Collins." I laugh a little, "I have never had an ex-boyfriend, I have never had a boyfriend in general." Collins smiles, "What!? Are you kidding? How? Jennifer your gorgeous and your funny and kind and sweet and you are the one that I want in my life." I look into his eyes. He looks into mine and leans in closer into my face. Suddenly our lips hit and we kiss. I have never kissed him before. I have never kissed anyone before, but I like it. We didn't makeout, the kiss was just short and sweet. I feel like we aren't just friends anymore.
